Cool My New Ravi Piaggio 2014 (New Model)

Hello everyone, yesterday i got my brand new Ravi Piaggio new model at last (awaited a very long time.)

Please i require your expert knowledge on first 1,000 KM as i previously owned a Metro 70CC bike and this is a very new experience for me. Guide me regarding the running and general maintenance for this bike, as it is quite sophisticated as compared to my old bike.

From this i can guess that regular is 87 and Hi Octane is 91. so we can mix it to get around 89.

@SyedMoazzam! @vickytulla! Does that wikipedia article also tells you which fuel to use in those low compression engines? Because what i have read that you can't just tell on the basis of "engine compression" ALONE. And other things like Engine Type, Design, Size and Horsepower also matters. Whatever article you will find on the web, will mention compression of a car, not of a bike. If the latter, then it doesn't mention what kind of bike, whether high performance or commuter.

I remember that i searched on this high enough but only remembered the final verdict (as it was a long time ago), which was that ALL commuter bikes in Pakistan should use Regular petrol, and NOT Hi-Octane, and using Hi-Octane will increase their wear & tear, despite the obvious increase in performance.

Anyway, as Piaggio's owner mentions 89 rating, i think its okay to mix both regular and hi-octane fuels. But then again, the cost increase vs. performance gain is significant, with Hi-Octane being much expensive. So i for one will not opt for it, unless i got deep pockets.
Riders on the storm ... literally.

Guys just use regular unleaded petrol RON-87.The increased cost of high octance does not offset its use in simple commuting bikes. Our cars can clock more than 300k+ kms without an overhaul on ron-87 why not cheap motorcycles(i know motorcycles have short engine life)?
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

simple sa jawab hai dosto ... Jab ap nay bike ko sirf "Commuting" k liye use kerna hai tu use regular petrol. mitti ka tail or what ever where as if you are planning to have some fun on an empty air strip do remember to buy a STP while going there ... and this goes only for RP125 ... and this statment do not really go true for GS and CG owners.
