Cool Became a proud piaggio family member today! My RP 124 2014

    Dear Pakwheelers!
    AOA
so after much consideration and searching this forum,I finally bit the bullet today and went on to buy my first bike ever!
So far feeling pretty good!but i would really appreciate the help of this forum in keeping my bike in tip top condition.
    A little background first
both of my parents are doctors and they were strictly against buying a motorcycle because of very greater chance of head injury!but what could i do,I had caught the biker bug!
after much cajoling,i finally convinced them but they made me promise that
they'll only let me have one if i always practice safety first!

meaning all the safety gear whether summer or winter, dhoop aur chaooon!!!
    ATGATT!!
    i'll share pics soon!
so ibought safety gear first and bike second!

    yes i totally agree!
stage 1 should be riding on open lanes with limited traffic
stage 4(mastery level) is when you can drive in tightly congested areas!!

Congratulations, bro! Glad to see how keen you are on safety. It also tells me you are only an occasional rider, you don't plan on using it as a regular commuter.

    Ride safe and enjoy!

now don't break your parents trust and be sincere with them
and never try to do wheely stunts or races on bike

Its really really nice to see you have bought very good safety gear
not many people buy all those accessories the best they do buy helmet only

If you are very new to bikes than my suggestion yes first learn driving bike
and get control on your bike by riding it on clean roads but in slow speeds
motorcycling is really a fun and new drivers gets excited with speeds and they twist
throttle so becareful in the begenining be careful until you don't have full control your bike
You have bought Ravi Piaggio 125 this bike has Disc Brake which is an great feature but extremely
dangerous too as this brake is really response with just small push front wheel locks and bike slips
i recommend use front brake with just one finger i mean pull lever with just one middle finger in your hand
this way you will remain safe with full hand you hard pull lever you can loose control on your bike & fell down
yes i noticed!braking power is really strong!i'll keep this one finger braking method in mind!thanks for the guidance!

@Slickdesertfox Congrats bro welcome to the 2 wheels world

Mera hisaab ulta tha..I am an experienced car driver.Motorcycle chalatay huay 2-3 sall ho gayay hain.I remember when i bought my first bike in 2012 i asked the dealer mujhay clutch, gear break samjha dain kidhar kidhar hai bas..Dealer advised me main apko banda day deta hn wo chor ai ga but i insisted.Aur kya then drove the motorcycle all the way to my home via a congested road @SPEED of 20 km/hr..I was very tense at that time. The very next day i went to isb on motorcyle @ speeds of 35km/hr /extreme left of the road and managed it very well.Road sense was already there thanks to my car experience.I would advise you to first get a grip on motorcycle mechanics and try i on open roads or galis with no or ow traffic..

    Congos again
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

    Got my bike registration today!
One word of advice! Plz check your registration details very carefully because I learnt the hard way!
The person who registered my bike had all my details wrong.
He registered my bike's color as red instead of blue!
Entered incorrect id card number! Incorrect home address with lots of spelling mistakes! So I had to rectify all these mistakes!
So plz check your details carefully before and after registration!
