Bhai there is already a thread for Derbi 150 by Ravi.

Also, our dear friend @vickytulla test rode the Derbi 150, briefly. And he has some impressive things to say, except the price :p

Its an amazing bike, i mean just look at it. The price is definitely the discouraging factor but than again if Suzuki can sell their 110cc GD for 122K, than this bike deserves to be somewhere between 200K and 250K figure.

Pakistan is a poor country - we usually buy rides for moving families or for day to day purposes - for day to day purposes, a 45000 wali chinese brand new bike performs exceptionally very well..

agar 300k ki baat hai, tou a very good Margalla will be available in around 325k...why would one buy a 300k bike!?

Because these bikes are not targeted towards people like you and me. A middle class family man will prefer what you said above, but not everybody has the same approach, specially not the people who already have 2-3 cars standing in their garages.

Its a matter of choice, if one could afford it. One can see if a new Corrolla or civic is released and next day you can spot many of them rolling on roads.

This bike has many features and m sure it has some cost as well, needless to say the high import duty. Does the cost justify? thats upto you if you want it to purchase it or not.

Cost of this Bike is not justified on any level, it should be some where around 2Lac in any case, and beleive me Ravi Higher End Managers themself accept this facto but they are threatened not to launch it at its "real price" or this Honda, SHonda, CHONDA will be history...

Its the third night and I am hanging out on Derbi and totally loving it for every angle... I know it is made in China, but whe I ride it I feel like I am using a Nokia!!!! so well engineered... every thing just works like you dreamed!!

Me and My friend Discussing why it is so good at cornering, it keeps up with CG in traffic which is very alarmingly GOOD
    Ravi set a new benchmark150CC bikes for 2015 -1513684

2014 CG in the back ground which is used against it where CG can beat it ... so far Derbi WINS..lololol...

bro, derbi is more matchable to GS150 in terms of power and top end speed the reason why it is giving tough time to CG is that it has equally good maneuverability in street/traffic due to its short tail, small wheels, and less height.. thats where GS lacks due to its big wheels Big size which makes it less maneuverable...

About YBR, its too early say any thing about it (I am very hope full) but as we see its specs, I am afraid it will not be able to undo CG Curse any soon. Also about Price I am not sure what they are going to do with it.

Another thing which I came to know about YBR is that its being sourced by chinese sources, all those importers from china who feed RP125, GS150, GD110 have been contacted by Yamaha Karachi Plant to feed them with constant supply of parts from china.

    So you can well imagine.

So Much for a Japanese Bike..
