Default MY Love My Piaggio Storm 2015

Many of my friends know that I was going to buy a brand new PIAGGIO in black colour from CSD. Today was the delivery day. A blue and a black were available. Checked the black one and it was perfect except its disk break cable was very tight( poori poori in length). Now what to do? They are asking me to choose the other colour(blue) or wait for some more days. What do you people say ?

This model of piaggio is pricier than its predecessor. People say this is justified. But I dare to disagree. A plastic chain cover, a downgraded fuel filter and plastic part attached to foot rest ( don't know its name) which used to b metallic and chromed...I don't think its right!!

Then Good Luck spending 125k+ on a Deluxe, which has more plastic than your Piaggio, including the useless front Visor, not to mention lack of a Self Starter.

may be u r right that ravi has changed a few things which might be a downgrade for some but to tell u the truth i and many other like that black plastic half chain cover and that black plastic thing u r talking about but sure i would have love them more if they were metal with black color.....
About price bro that raised aluminium clip on bars are very expensive i mean very, and that new gear shifter, new carburetor and there are lots and lots of upgrades that totally justifies its price just look at Honda Deluxe Crappiest bike ever, as a bike there is not even a single thing in this bike which is better than piaggio, and piaggio have lot lot more gadgets too but still that Honda Crap is expensive...
Deluxe is just like a Khoota trying to be a horse.....

And self starter is surely the most expensive luxury feature of a bike, a self starter need new engine design, new handle grips, bigger battery, new wiring setup, a motor, and few switches too, if ever Honda will put self start in deluxe the price tag will go beyond 1.5 lac.
And there are many more small bits in piaggio that deluxe does't have.....

Exactly. But Good Luck making people understand that. They will only understand from their personal experiences.

Recently, the only thing worrying people, is after sales and availability of spare parts. I wish Ravi doesn't f*ck up their customers like that, because it took them 7+ (or maybe 10) years to reach where they are now.

Another thing; people buy brand new bikes and think they won't have to spend any extra penny on it. Well guess what, you still have to spend at least 10k more if you want to secure the future of your purchase.

Let me explain. All new bikes, Honda, China, Suzuki, whatever ... have Tyres and Rims coming with a pathetic quality. Changing those Rims is a MUST. If you don't, you are only delaying the inevitable.

Piaggio's price is less. Spend a little extra say,10 or 15k more, and make custom stuff (say, a chain cover), replace parts (say, tyres, battery, headlight or whatever) and your bike is ready ... even more ready than any other bike. But good luck making people understand that.

    Thanks #abobobilly
The things is to be patient and a little bit more attached with Rp in the beginning and have to take care of it like a new baby.
After it is settled, it will show what it is meant for ;-)

And one more thing i'm sure is, as soon as Yamaha jump in, there sure be a lot of things common in RP and YBR because both bike are based on modern and same design and have almost same setup so spares of YBR will help ravi do better and also YBR mechanics will understand RP 100% and also ravi prices will still be less than YBR so i'm very hopeful that piaggio have a very bright future as long as ravi koi chawal na maar dy

I guess now its pretty much established that AHL's "SOMO" Rims are famous because of their Chrome Quality. While we know very well that underneath, their metal quality is the shittiest of all time.
