    Default Ravi Piaggio 250cc (Touring Machine)

    Bought this bike on 3-6-2011, after touring and enjoying beauty of Pakistan on this machine for almost 4 years i finally decided to swap engine to bigger displacement as a i tumbled upon a good deal.

    My bikes engine was already in a bad condition, as it was consuming oil and didn't go beyond 100km/h most of the times. Nonetheless the engine was still performing well and would have served me good for another 1 years without any major problems.

    I seized this opportunity to get a 250cc engine from Lahore via link of @vickytulla. Another reason to opt for engine swap is a bolt on fit. i didnt wanted any changes in frame so it was a good opportunity.

    I will start this thread in sequence so that everything is clear and give proper instructions, do and dont's in case someone is willing for a swap.

    i know that by changing CDI to bigger increases Acceleration, changing sprokit also increases speed and accelaration

    but what is effect of Exhaust ?

    for ordinary person like me its just to reduce sound (only Silencer)

    Making exhaust free flow or changing exhaust create more negative pressure means the fumes and gases from engine can be exhaled more easily resulting in a reduced pressure on engine

    Its same as mun pe kaprey le ke exhale karein or hata ke.

    Low life of piston rings

    Tried gs150 muffler on deluxe kapra laga diya acceleration died top speed 85, back on stock decent acceleration and achieved 95kmh

    Which exhuast it is ? I remember you had that Bazooka style exhust before.. ?

    Your Bike is crying to have Decals on Tank.... make your Custom ones they would look hot... BNation or some thing ?

    Remove scrachy wearing off decals from tail too will improve the bike a over all symetry ?

    Yes i changed exhaust, its Kawasaki Ninja's exhaust which i installedsome 3-4 months back. And decals can wait first i have to repaint bike as now all of the mechanki is complete

    Till 120km/h acceleration is good. after 110km/h it takes a bit more time to climb. My concern is at 115km/h the bike reaches its max RPM and i have to leave accelerator

    And iam talking about fully loaded bike

    I have only 4 gear transmission and 3 gears are eaten up quickly and 4th gear is aevry heavy isliye men 3rd men he bike ko 8.5~9k RPM per lay atay hon bike crosses 90+ kmh and then put 4th gear phir agay 4th he usko 120+ lay ker jata hai... but 110kmh k bad bike ki accelration utni nahi rehti...

    @vickytulla & @Silver_Knife bros m little bit disappointed to know that even a 250 cc enginealso gives merely 120 km/h at maximum. i expected a top speed of 140 km/h with excellent acceleration and torque that at least this machine is not chasable by cg 125 at all... dnt how much realistic are my expectations
