RoadPrince is marketing this bike as the most advanced bike and the FIRST to bring it to Pakistan. Citing the fact that this bike wasn't officially launched by Ravi. The derbi 150 isn't on ravi's website. Ravi just lost the marketing game.

I read "dry sump" above - but I also read wet clutch - and I also see an oil level inspection glass on the side casing.

and the tag line says its supercharged and advanced etc etc..

where is this "supercharger" and what part of it is advanced?

Hmmm but RdPr have put a high price tag for this bike.

If you people remember when the "Hero RF 125 Chopper" was introduced in 2002-2003 it's price was very low as compared to other competitors but the people at that time too thought much more to buy a Chinese bike and that was the cause of it's failure.

Such Chinese bikes should be low priced and the company owners should market such bike in low price tag and after a good sale they should gradually increase the price as we can see in case of Piaggio, its price was raised gradually and the introduction price of piaggio was less as compared to AHL/Suzuki/Yamaha.

Now the scenario is that the newly introduced WEGO is very high priced bike as compared to other competitors and this high price/ parts availibility/ service dealers may cause for the failure of this bike but the good sign is that Road Prince have the courage to introduce new machines which is appreciable.

The bad thing about such high price is that other companies like Yamaha, AHL, PS would take this price as benchmark for this segment to decide their own pricing if and when they come up with a model with matching specs. They would think that if a Chinese bike can ask for this much amount, their fake Japanese origin bike(s) (all made in China, e.g. GD110, Inazuma, YBR125, etc) should be priced higher just because of their brand.

It was similar scenario with Ravi who shot themselves in the foot with its pricing and set a bad precedent.

Lol. Supercharger made an exit when it learnt the price of this bike.
I am sure whoever designed this brochure or poster, doesn't even have a clue what supercharged means. the only thing supercharged here is the price.

this bike only makes sense if priced between 130 to 140k. anything more than that is just plain stupidity.

Color of engine is also different.

Like the big three Japanese mafia typically do, I think Road Prince stripped parts/features and/or used lower quality parts till they met their price point.

I noted all these things. I guess these are modified or changed on temporary basis.
A common thought is that these things are not for such bike having such price.
This is just a dummy bike came to show ppl and to make their mood.

    a.o.a
i have seen this bike personally.... the owner of the Yamaha showroom near guldasht town lahore owns this 150cc bike ... i inquired about its performance as its 150cc so called super charged bike... he told me its slower than cg125 in pick as ybr125 is and the top speed is merely 115kmph..... and for me that not a performance from such a hefty priced motor bike.... with almost zero spare parts availability and mechanics.. whereas its counterpart bike known as GS150 is far much better in terms of performance.... if Road Prince is serious about its sales then he must price it below 130 or max 130 not more than this....
let me tell you im not a GS owner.... i own YBR125 and CG125...

    and one more thing ...
paint of this bike was also not upto the mark...
and front indicators lost their position and one of them was facing upwards and the other was facing downwards...
secondly the feel of a branded bike wasn't there... a uniformity and finishing of parts used to build this bike wasn't there.. and the exhaust it must be silent instead of the sound i heard out of it... it was like cd70 with desi exhaust and very cheap plastic ...

im not here to say that its a crap bike.... but anybody who is going to buy this bike will have some expectation from it ...

this bike also carries two bulbs in the main head light ... one above the other... the lower one is for low beam and the upper one is for high beam....
the instrument panel is digital and looks stunning it would be even more graceful if it has Road Prince logo on or in it...
i'm planning to buy it after 2 years when i will be done with my YBR125 i hope ybr125 will last for 2 years... i will put my ybr125 with my cg125 and buy this Road prince only if there is no other option available in the market at that time in 150cc...
