    Dear friends,
    I dont know its a correct forum.or not but m.having little bro in my motorbike I am in srilanka.
    Its Bajaj Pulsar 220cc DTSi

    Its only self start it has no kick.

    Sometimes when I press start switch only I can only click click sound from the starting relay but self motor does not rotates .
    Than I put the bike in 2nd gear and clutch daba k thora saa chala k clutch choorta hun to thora saa engine starting type sound aati hai and after that I press start switch bike self start hoo jati hai..

    If any brother can help out in this strange problem.

    might be loose wiring near starter or battery.... check that. could be the self starter switch too... open it and service that as well.
    success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm

    Check battery i think battery is down & which type of battery this bike have is it liquid or dry ?

    I am sure its the battery problem. Check the battery voltage and i am sure it has a dry battery. If its below 12.5 volts then my friend grab a decent lead acid charger which are cheap and charge it overnight and try not to charge it above 1 amp as lead acid batteries like to be charged at low rate.
