    INTRODUCTION
    Honda AIRWAVE Fan Club -456411
The Honda Airwave was a subcompact car produced by the Japanese automaker Honda from 2005 to 2010. It was a five-door station wagon version of the first generation City / Fit Aria and Fit/Jazz, which was a sedan and a hatchback respectively. The Airwave was built on the Global Small Car platform; however, unlike the City and Fit, the Airwave was unique to the Japanese market. Honda announced the debut of the Airwave on April 7, 2005. Production ended in August 2010.

The Airwave was designed around the "new wave compact" concept-a new idea for compact cars that function as a cool lifestyle component for youthful customers who value their own individual sensibilities over any single style. The Honda Airwave is equipped with a 1.5-liter VTEC engine. In combination with the Honda Multimatic S transmission, it delivers smooth acceleration with high torque and high output performance at mid to high speeds. Fuel economy is an excellent 18.0km/L. The Honda Airwave boasts a large luggage capacity of 473 liters and versatile seating arrangements in Honda's original center-fuel tank layout.Sky Roof combines privacy glass to cut out bright light and high-thermal-absorbing UV-cut glass with outstanding insulating properties to fully protect occupants from ultraviolet radiation and the sun's heat. ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) and brake assist are standard on the Airwave, along with a high-mount LED rear brake light.

    Airwave is now discontinued?
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers.

    Thumbs up Nice!

My company rented a Honda Airwave for a few days for some foreign guests who were visiting our company. It was with me for the time and I only got to ride in it. No chance to drive. A very comfortable and spacious car with plenty of space to keep the shopping. It is good around town and I am sure will be great on long drives. But not sure about parts availability or fuel economy. Overall to me it seemed like a novelty car, limited use in our society except for those who want to stand out from the rest of the crowd. People in Pakistan consider a sedan as status symbol which means that hatchbacks, station wagons, APVs are for people who have too much money or too less money. Pity. But thats how it is. Even I preferred to buy a City sedan and not a hatchback like a Swift as it felt more like a real car. But its good to know people like cars like the Airwave.

it's just for this dying thread

i own this for over two years now. it's a 2006 7-speed tiptronic with a skyroof. Smooth & Comfortable ride with no noise in the room. steering is a little bit stiff though! Someone asked for the consumption, so here it is:
    11-12 Km/L in city traffic with A/c
    13-14 Km/L in city traffic without A/c
15-19 Km/L on highways (with or without A/c) ... but depends on how you manage your throttle.

Anyone knows the max mileage to change the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)???? and the recommendations for the AT Fluid?

I'm in the market for an unregistered Wingroad or Airwave in Karachi. I scoured the whole of Khalid bin Waleed road yesterday but found none. The showrooms near old sabzi mandi also only have corolla fielders in their forecourts. where should i look?
