advice for the potential buyers of diva and all jdm cars..before buying switch on the camera light of your cell phone and make a steady video after chucking your phone beneath the dashboard of the car from whichever opening you may be able to find(glove box, cabin filter housing etc..) aim being to see if the air bag unit is in place or not..and also to check for any repair marks on the underside of the dashboard (after air bag deployment by local ustaads to make the car Jenyan!)..since the top is given special attention and it becomes impossible for honest joes to figure out the deployement repair/reversal..
    happy hunting!

    hello,
as per my knowledge honda life with changed grill, alloy rims, fog lamps and other electronic goodies(climate control, heated wing mirrors etc) alongwith a sports kit is named as diva..
a diva variant may or may not be turbo charged
C is some variant with other additional features/equipment which vary from generation to generation (of the vehicle) but the basic mechanics and frame work of the car remains the same as the normal NON-C variant of similar shape..
Zest and Spark are the same (i hope i aint wrong here) difference can be in equipment..but same body shape..however they look different from honda life/diva of similar production year
the comfort zone of these vehicles is within city..
pull it and it will take you to 130 but i dont advise you to use this car on motorway...130+..difficult with load and unsafe..
if you are interested in a vehicle of equal price which can negotiate 130+ with ease then look out for a good previous generation honda/corolla..
my car being an 08 model (produced from 07-09)..i havnt taken it on motorway and havnt driven it over 100+
    happy motoring!

personally recommended speed for these "kei" cars is 60-80km on light foot and you will get a good mileage

Dear Faisal, I think Life Diva is better option purchase above 2011 model. You can go on Motorway 130+ but i don't recommend you to go on this speed go max on 115 KMPH or till where Eco system support the car. as Obxe saying for 60 to 80 km then why not purchase a Bike 70cc for better consumption...

Topic: Engine oil grade for 660cc (1/1) - KKITP - Kei Kars in the Park

i use 5w 40 and mine has a turbo charger in its hood..but stick to the same rating of oil which you once find suitable

Dear Bro, I asked one of my friend to import a JDM 660CC Vehicle, He won a bid for Suzuki WagonR Stingray with Turbo feature. I am really afraid of its fuel consumption due to its turbo feature. Please share your experience since you own one. Please let me know advantages and disadvantages of Turbo mode in 660CC. Can this mode be disengaged. Is there any indication on dashboard when Turbo Mode is working in the car.

well turbo cannot be dis-engaged as long as it is fitted on to the engine, however there is a certain rpm after which turbo spools up (picks up pace) properly resulting in greater fuel consumption. so a turbo charged car can give you a good acceleration with poor economy if you accelerate quickly, if you do that in a slow manner then it can give you better milage.
currently my car is giving me average of 12.6km/L with climate control on 26 C and fan on one dot less than full air blow..which isnt good..
a non turbo charged car is simpler to fix..but turbo is fun too..specially when you need it..
    best of luck !

Mileage update: after getting the radiator thoroughly cleaned the mileage of car has improved.average has risen upto 14km/L with a.c
And driving this car super carefully i obtained 17km/L..(slowly reach your desired speed and maintain it with a light foot.I was the only occupant of my ride when i achieved this figure)
So get the radiator of your car serviced and let the magic happen!

Well I have driven my car almost 1000 KM, it has a great pick as it has turbo feature. The average on long route is around 25KM with speed of 80KM, although I have driven only 5KM on long route with consistent speed. But within city it gives me an average of 14~15KM.

i havnt driven it on long route yet however i do think that the mileage quoted by you is possible to achieve if one maintains his speed on long rooute and doesnt apply breaks

what is the model of your car?
cars produced after 2007 have their brake pads available on montgomery road lahore
if everything else fails then use your old brake pads and get them covered with leather, it runs fine and you wont even feel a difference unless you excessively use the brakes.

is the knocking sound heard while turning only?
for sound in left door it can be some loose object inside the door, it could be the speaker mounting making noise..you would need to open the plastic interior from the door and see for yourself by closing the door
no minus point in my opinion except the cost of new air bag assembly.
i have limited knowledge about the air bag sensor replacement.
someone else might be able to help you out

for brake pad leather covering i currently only know about one shop, there would be many others i am sure
the shop where i got my cars' brake pads refurbished is situated just before PSO petrol pump where the Garhi shahu bridge ends towards UET
as soon as you reach the traffic light after coming down from garhi shahu bridge(towards UET) you can see two small shops(with shutters) one of them is where brake pads are covered with leather, it cost me only 350 rs last year and i am still to get them serviced.they stop the car really well
