Honda fit is probably the cheapest hybrid car you can buy, Although it's a mild hybrid, it gives decent mileage and offer good value for money in this segment of the market. It is available as a Hatch-back or station wagon body style. The later is called Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid and it was only released in Japanese Domestic Market.

Your posted figures are misleading, and probably unrealistic as well. The trip meter shows its driven only 15km. And at such short trip i can manage 35kmpl from my car which in reality does 23kmpl.
So please, for fuel consumption figures, please consider 100km or more.

Is it necessary to install tracker or any other security device in Honda fit besides availability of coded key?

My daily drive is almost 60+ km total.
More than 2/3rd on highway & bypass road and 4-5 km in the city area. I was using almost 50-50 High Octane. The first oil was changed last week. Using Honda Genuine 0-30 imported.

The way i drive is to get maximum out of Battery when EV kicks in , say I'm on highway at 100 and due to traffic if i get to 80 and EV starts then i try to maintain it. Similarly in city usually i drive EV.

InshAllah will start the car thread soon

Hello everyone , need your opinion.
I took my fit gp1 to a company operated shell just to clean/wash spark plugs, in Karachi. To find out that four spark plugs are right in front of engine and other four are in hidden behind engine.!
Could not have them washed due to that .how to get those hidden ones washed ? .also, mine is 82000 Japan driven , with the meter reversed to 33. Maintainance minder will intimate for transmission. Oil change ?
    Your help d be appreciated

There's nothing special, it's just the way honda has designed the engine. You just need to service 8 plugs if you do, or change 8 plus rather than 4.
For transmission oil. If it's original oil from company, you should change it after 100k km or can even be extended to 120k km. Without much issues. If it's a less than 5yr old car. 120k won't be an issue

Common man your is 80k driven.just change the plugs already.for hidden 4 plugs the wiper schield have to come off and some time intake manifold had to be removed, than comes the coils and than is the spark plug.i suggest u change CVT oil as well while you are down there.is easy.buy 3 liters Honda CVT oil from a genuine shop.i think its 2.8 L capacity but i dont remember.i have written a whole thread regarding it.see if it can help you.

Oh... is that a gud thing or a bad thing?.. I mean suspected Honda Fit are mostly of 2013 with transmission issues... I remember there was even a list which was listing ranges of the chassis numbers that were recalled...

Mind inboxing me the cost of purchase and was it dealer or self import?..

    Cheers...

Yeah I'm confused myself regarding this issue.
I think in a war recall is good as it clears the issue of car.
I'll try again the honda japan website and ask regarding recall issue

Although I had read in some forums, that all that green button written with Econ on it in Honda car's is turn on a green sign on the instrument cluster. It does not improve anything much. Few weeks ago, a fellow pakwheeler mentioned very good economy without econ button 'ON', so I decide to try it my self. Well I have alternated between the two modes twice each, between fill up over the last 1000km+. And to my surprise there is absolutely no difference in fuel consumption between these both!!

These are under very similar driving conditions within Islamabad, with similar loads on the vehicle. Consumption was calculated by distance covered and fuel fillup (Super) and remains 20kmpl for my GP1. One thing I will mention here is that in current weather neither the AC or heater is being used, so I can't say whether having either of them on will give a different result.

The improvement in acceleration without econ button on is clearly noticeable. Although one gets used to it, and eitherway, that ever was or is any issue.

Can anyone comment on the suspension of Honda Fit? How is the stability of this car at 120 kph? I have not driven this car yet. But I've shortlisted this car to buy. How is its suspension if we compare it to the suspension of Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and Toyota Vitz? (I listed these models as I have driven these cars). Bumpy or Rigid?

Also what are the differences between
