    Honda Fit Hybrid Owners and Fans Club
    Honda fit is probably the cheapest hybrid car you can buy, Although it's a mild hybrid, it gives decent mileage and offer good value for money in this segment of the market. It is available as a Hatch-back or station wagon body style. The later is called Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid and it was only released in Japanese Domestic Market.

    Some Details from Wikipedia: Sales of the Fit Hybrid began in Japan in October 2010. The hybrid version starts at ?1.59 million (around US$20,000), the lowest price for a gasoline-hybrid electric vehicle sold in Japan. The Fit Hybrid features a 1.3-litre engine and electric motor, with an estimated fuel economy of 3.3 litres per 100 kilometres (86 mpg-imp; 71 mpg-US) measured in accordance with Japanese 10?15 cycle. The car uses a parallel hybrid system that works in tandem with the gasoline engine. The parallel hybrid system is simple and lightweight while enhances driving performance and fuel economy.

    @rashidkhanmuhammad i hope inshaAllah you find a nice GP4. its amazing car. i had option to buy GP5 or GP4,both were of same price but i prefered GP4 because it shares features with CRZ and GE8 honda fit.so aftermarket parts support is huge.i mean you can find every thing of this car.Turbos,superchargers,brakes rotors,calippers,suspension parts,body kits,engine internals,injectors and the list goes on and on.
    GP4 and GP5 in Same price looks like you have been seriously ripped off.

    GP5 even avg 3.5 grade costs 3-4lac higher then 4-4.5grade GP4.Iv recently imported both. Moding GP5 not recommended as its damm high compression engine.

    i did't explain it well,i meant a low grade GP5 and a 4/4.5 Grade Gp4 in 20.5 lakhs. my GP4 was just 9K driven,self imported and self selected via auction after many weeks of searching the auctions.
    and i am wondering if Gp5 has 13.5-1 compression will high octane must for that to run? if that is the case all hybrid fuel savings will be balanced out by expensive hi-octane!

    I feed hi octane in almost any of our cars as it improves both efficency n response so Rs5/extra pays back

    One should not always buys a newest hybrid model becuase Hybrids have some complex tech and the chances of its faults are higher.
    so far Prius and honda IMA have been time proven solid ones.the newer Honda iDCT sport hybrid has been recalled atleast 3 times now due to problems.(engine in GP5 and Vezel).
    Green Car Congress: Honda recalls Fit Hybrids and Vezel Hybrids in Japan; 3rd recall due to problems with 7-speed DCT
    i hope people importing those models dont have such problems here but i fear most hybrids being imported here fall b/w those faulty dates ei July 2013 through February 2014.I pray my fellow Pakistani's dont get those.and they read and search before buying a hybrid.
    and 2ndly newest honda and toyota models are using Li-on poly batteries whihc are lighter weight and provide more energy but their long lasting has been compromised.as they may last just upto 4 years but previous Ni-Meh batteries(Prius,Gp1,Gp4) they can last upto may be 10 years. so plz do take into this before importing a GP5 or a Vezel.

    Import of 2013 model would start in 2016, and recalls would have been done on all vehicles by then hopefully so there should not be any issue. IMA was not successful, Civic hybrid and fit was fail due to IMA issues and has been replaced by newer hybrid technology which gives better fuel economy. Recalls are a routine part of the development process. Recalls were also done for IMA as well, here is a list of recalls of IMA so your argument is invalid :

    See my point,at that time IMA was new,so all recalls were before year 2007.Not even a single after 2008 to 2015.that is my point.and people are importing Vezels and Gp5 right now.why you say that those will begin at 2016? Rule is not to import 3 year older but we can import even 1-2 year old,so any one can import them right now.
    and i know latest honda I-DCT hybrid give best MPG but system is rather very new and Li-on batteries.
    I just wanted to warn people because once we get JDM here,we are on own own,no warranty etc etc.
    and locally launched CRZ or Prius is also being imported as it is and being sold.so dont expect that local Honda or Toyota personel understand and can provide technical support for those either.

    is there any shop in pindi / isb / lhr who are keeping aftermarket parts of honda fit? like spoilers, RS bumpers/ fog lamps etc?

    I have searched Lahore but so far havt seen any. If you are interested in buying mugen exhaust muffler,mine will be available in next week as i will install turbo in mine so i am upgrading my complete exhasut system and may be my fog lamps too because i think we will cut the front bumber to fit the intercooler for turbo and transmission cooler

    yup it came fron japan equiped.sound is not noticeble on low rpms.but above 3k rpm its very nice low grunting sound.i am exactly not sure its mugen or not.once i get it out i will take pics for u

    AOA, dear friends, please read this problem and advise.
    My Honda Fit 2012 shows ABS malfunction in the instrument cluster. I got it scanned for ABS faults and the message came was " Motor Drive Circuit Malfunction" DTC 15 - 12. The mechanic has suggested me to change the ABS motor. But from the simple "English" it seems like a problem with the "circuit" not with the motor. I discussed with the mechanic, but he insists that the motor must be changed. Please advice on possible diagnosis, remedies, costs involved and the best place to get it rectified in Islamabad..

    @deltoid61
    Please check again cause the engines of fit hybrid and vezel ain't same.
    Vezel has a Direct injection engine whereas the fit has a simple i-Vtec engine. Hence the power difference of about 20hp.
