i hope Atlas Honda start assembling HR-V, imported HR-V price is high compare to JDM Honda Vezel as its lacking a lot of features and function such as led headlights etc etc
If Atlas Honda start assembling HR-V and keep the price between upcoming new civic and city the sales wud go BOOM with the price tag somewhere in 2-2.3m
My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

tl;dr: your favorite HR-V is twice as expensive as it should have been.
Yes you are right, base price of USDM to local Corolla and Civic might be same but you don't get all those standard features you get in USDM. For example the base Corolla LE in US is still with 8 standard air bags, it comes with standard LED headlights .. and it has an immobilizer, ABS, and some other features which a base Xli lack. You get a car with 5 star crash rating and saefty certificate.. while there are no crash testing or standard for local cars.. Also fit and finish , warranty process and claims procedures , after sales in US are much better.

Consider The Currency Difference And Amount Of Sales..........With Those Featureless As In US....It Will Be Much More Than What It Actually Cost Now....

Keep In Mind The Maintenance Factor And People Who Actually Fix Those Cars....People Want Upgrade In Cars With Lots Of Features But Forget That Its Going To Be Driven/Maintained By Same People Who Actually Care Much For ABS And Air Bags But Have Zero Sense Of Driving With Road Safety Rules And Seat Belts.....! The Car Will Be Tried To Get Fixed In Same Price As Mehran....Having All Top Grade Features....

I'd go for the imported Japanese one instead. It's hybrid, much more powerful and has more options

why would anybody pay 600K more for a less equipped, less powerful car with comparatively more fuel consumption?

vezel makes every sense when compared to this.

That was problem was shortlisted to a specefic time period in which vezels were made( dont know exactly) you can get a model later than those manufactured ,
Plus even if some error or problem comes, you can spend the 4-5 lac you saved (by buying jdm) for repairs.
and if the car runs smoothly ( As a car ver such few km's on the metre should) you can spend those 4-5 lacs towards petrol and other stuff

I am happy that we are geting more options , but this is no excuse to make our public fools by offering substandred products which are overpriced.
If we didn't have JDMs then probly we would have eaten it up , but with options available ( much more features) their is no point in buying this car in the name of warrenty.
you can mantain the car in the 4-5 lacs you saved (by opting for jdm ) for a long time . and get to enjoy much more features .

Inshort, you can't get the real taste of Audi from A3.

    Rest, all personal preferences.

True on both accounts, its just that each car sort of carries its own image and the sort of yuppie image crossovers all over the world carry with them is a turn off for me, I dont know if Audi sells it here but A3 also comes with a 1.8TFSI and that thing is a peach of an engine to drive. Also, truth be told, driving in Abbottabad, 90% of the time I feel my Altis 1.6 is needlessly overpowered

Audi A3 comes with two engine options in Pakistan
1.2 which start from 3.8 million
And 1.8 which price tag is 4.5 million.

In 3.8 million i guess, HR-V is a better option.

And yes, in city drive even 800cc does the job. Be it 800cc, 1600cc or 3000cc all do the same job from Point A to Point B.
