Default Honda Vezel vs Honda HRV

Honda Atlas just launched the HRV cross over with a price tag of 3.6 m PKR.
Let us compare both these Hondas to help people decide bw them.
As far as i know the Vezel is the better choice here having the Hybrid badge & 8 Airbags for safety alongwith the DOHC Honda Earthdreams engine and that too with a lesser price tag.
Why would someone stil opt for the HRV? just because it has a two year warranty ?
I reckon Honda atlas is yet again making the same mistake as it did with the CRZ.
Who knows they might slash the price ( in a while) after a poor response from the local customer.
Suggestions & comparisons from our Pakwheels community are needed to help everyone who decides to spend his money on either of these two vehicles.

Just doing some research about HRV vs Vezel. Surely Honda needs to reprice it's HRV or come out with better options. They also have to ensure ready availability. If the initial lot sold off so quickly then that means there is a market for their HRV...then why not keep it in ready stock???!! Something fishy here...
Btw I would be a bit concerned about these recalls being done by honda japan every now and then with issues with their hybrids lately (the last one being for vezel and fit) applicable to only japan...what about the caRs imported here? Who deals with those? Are the owners stuck with getting them fixed at their own expense in Pakistan or will Honda Pak take care of them?

    Just concerns....no favorites.

I havent seen a single HRV till date in Lahore. Hrv strategy is a flop just like the Crz.

Never seen an HRV in Pindi - Islamabad either. All are imported Vezels. If someone is thinking of buying an HRV for personal use then it's a tough decision keeping in mind that a slightly used Vezel hybrid is available at a lesser price. If I had that kind of money lying around I might go for a Vezel and not an HRV as I would also be able to afford parts and expensive service or maintenance

what fails and boogles the mind is if honda tried to sell a hybrid crz in Pakistan then why not a honda vezel hybrid instead of a hrV which is petrol!!! and vezel is more popular would be cheaper to import!!!

If honda atlas launched honda vezel in Pakistan it would effect the honda civic sales quite a bit!!!! As honda crz which was a hybrid and was serviced and backed by parts from honda atlas a 1500cc vezel hybrid which had less duty then hr-v would have been a better option as those mechanics who we're trained of crz could work on vezel!!!
