Thread: need suggestions for headlights for Suzuki FX

    Default need suggestions for headlights for Suzuki FX

    heylo guys ...

    im looking for suggestions to change my suzuki FX's 1987 headlights , rite now the are normal yellow sealed beams and it have become difficult for me to drive at night times so want to get rid off these current lights ,

    pls suggest me some good solution/alternates for my problem , all i want is powerful and bright headlights my location is karachi and plaza is not far from my place but i have very low info when it comes to headlights so need proper solutions/ options available under 3-4k budget...

    if your lights are clean, good and branded - install a relay wiring harness on them - Please get someone to do a good and clean job - not some cut up wires joined and taped together. The wires should have crimped/soldered connectors on the relay and headlamp connector. The negative for the lights should also be from a good ground source (like the battery itself).

    Your lights visibility will improve by many times - Once done, aim the lights correctly for proper front vision.

    get the headlights of 2011 model carrry dabba. i have seen many fxs wid them and they look gr8. i think they fit without major alteration

    I would suggest the same. Alterations are not advisable for an old car.

    ahaaan ... any idea about the cost ? and where to buy it from if possible ?

    oh and wat about HID KIT for carry dabba lights ? will that work w/o any issue ? i might go for normal XEON bulbs as well

    one more thing , do i need to do any electrical alteration / changes in order to Install HID kit ?

    yes you need to install the hid kit. i dont think you shud install it coz your wiring is probabbly weak and hids cannot be focused without good projectors

    instead of HIDs - why dont you follow what I wrote, that way you wont be putting glare into others eyes, have proper beam pattern for good frontal vision. If you want to go the HID route - new lamps+Relay Kit+HID kit - and still have a blind car
    OR
    Just a relay kit and have a good light pattern.
