    Default Mark X

    Hey every one,
Recently a friend of mine crashed his mark X,the car jumped off the foot path and rammed into a concrete block,he says it took 7.5 Lacs to repair the thing,i seriously doubt that, the wind shield got cracked, front grill, radiator, bonnet dent, and he says the chassis also twisted and a new computer was also required,
    What do you guys say,

from your description it seems as if anywhere else in the world they'd have scrapped it. but in PK they'll try and get it back on the road and that means a hefty repair bill to make it drive a little like it used to. with the right parts it'll be back on the road but it'll cost alot of money. so the bill sounds about right.

afterall it's not a local car so parts will be expensive (not locally made)

    yea,but i mean,the thing costs 30-35 lacs if i'm not mistaken,
So 7.5 sound a bit exaggerated, like one of those rich dude saying,
'oh i have so much money i can mess my car up and then get it repaired again',

Read @ Storms post. This is the reason that the car would be scrapped had it been abroad.
    But this is Pakistan.
