I don't know any mechanic for mark x but you can try toyota dealerships. Plus have you tried resetting the O2 sensor? I believe it can not be done from OBD and has to be done some other way. It may solve your problem

how do you reset a sensor
you can reset the ecu, but not a sensor, if o2 is faulty it needs replacement.

10500 is not a bad price at all in my opinion, just verify the part number.
its all about power to weight ratio...

sensors usely have long life. do verify if sensor is out of order before buying another. maybe a wire is broken.

engines run ok if O2 sensor is missing from circuit, chk light should not come "on"

IN a Mark X O2 sensor will through a code definately. But how are you sure that it is the O2 sensor? Also i think there are 2 O2's in mark X. Better be sure or you might have to change both.

on every reset the ECU needs a driving cycle to go into drive mode. and do verify what the code was? O2 sensor lean/rich codes are set due to an air leak in the manifold or incorrect fuel rail pressure too.
