Default My AXIO gave amazing mileage

Assalaam o Alaikum to all pakwheelers!

I wanted to share the fuel consumption of my 2007 Corolla AXIO as calculated on last Saturday, for info to all as well as for appreciation. We travelled from taxila to talagang via motorway on average speed of 120 km/hr. The route was taxila to islamabad motorway to balkasar interchange and then to talagang and finally to a village almost 10 km away from talagang. Average speed other than motorway was almost 90km/hr. Car had 4 passengers with 100% AC ON and fuel tank filled completely from a PSO pump on GT road near taxila. Rate of fuel on saturday was Rs 107/litre. On return I filled tank again from the same pump after 335 km running and found that it got filled completely in Rs. 2015. Surprisingly, with four passengers onboard and AC ON @ 120km/hr, the average came to be 17.8 km/litre. So, cost per km was almost Rs 6/. Please note that my AXIO has manual transmission and I have calculated almost the same average many times while travelling from my Job place to my village and back. But on average speed of 90 km/hr and single passenger i.e., only myself. The level of comfort is owsum too as told by my 3 friends onboard. Hope this helps many pakwheelers who are confused about buying AXIO.
    Regards.

    That's really good fuel average.
Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

You r right. I wanted to change spark plugs, gear oil, break fluid etc. but then I thought to keep the same as they r original atleast. So only engine oil was changed.
Moreover any work if needed, in my opinion, be done from toyota workshop only.

you cant keep them original for life one day you have to change these things, so better operate on the condition of these things rather then originality and secondly its not that difficult to find good quality OEM stuff in pakistan.

Indeed your average is really impressive but even R18 civic auto gives 14Km/L on highway decent driving. AXIO is very impressive and could be my next love

    great....
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

Thats great average brother. Surely, Civic EXi is 1500CC like AXIO X or G. But u cant get this from 1.8 variants.

Off course every part has its specific life, but my car is 5 grade car and less driven too. And one of my friend recently changed spark plugs of his Corolla X from toyota motors and average dropped from 15 km/litre to 13 km /litre.

awesome average but i will recommend u not to keep the fuel tank full all the time as i used to hv the habit of it due to which i am facing problem make a habit to finish the petrol till reserve and then fill it as we are getting bad quality petrol which has no preservative.
Due to bad quality petrol whole fuel system get messed up which result in bad mileage i dont know what the hell they have done to petrol it gives bad smell like rotten petrol and whole system get sticky including fuel tank
