I second these opinions. Why would you waste some 2million+ on a used car? Civic is much better, brand new, comes with warranty - for jdm, once the dealer gets hold of the money, its a state of "tu kon mai kun" if you have an issue in the car.
Personally, civic is much better than premio, just a small example - its more fuel efficient and has 4-wheel disc brakes while a premio has only front wheels disc brakes.
It's not once in a blue moon that you hear about issues with jdm cars. Jdm cars come damaged, mileage altered, and they repainted/detailed in Pakistan. They are NOT reconditioned. They are sold as is in Japan auctions. And this is true for at least 75% of the cases and I have underestimated this percentage. And I didn't even mention the gazzillion things that you would need to change to get the car in somewhat optimal driving condition, if you go for a premio.
I have lived in Japan and I know what kind of crap is shipped to Pakistan. No offence to any honest jdm dealers and owners.
Personally I think even the comparison of a sushi eating Japanese driven (aka roughed) premio with a brand new civic is an insult to the latter
