I have bought the same car too I am looking for 4-efe in 1300 cc. If I were you, I would rebuild the original engine. But if it is in real bad shape go for the engine i suggested.

low reving rpms, only torque in it and will break the k40. better is rebuild 4age16v , and swap t50. and lsd.

crank , cams polished. new internals, new bore. labor. bad shapes can be fixed. iron blocks hardly crack or break

IN hard to find, KP60 can handle the weight of CD17 or any other diesel option , 2k only gives 12,13km/L, i have to travel 70km daily. diesel charade gives me very good average but it is not reliable for long routs on AC, or if i put vits 1000cc engine with manual gear what should be its fuel average, thanks

Very few options in RWD. Try finding a good 1N diesel. it came in FWD starlet but can be fitted with T50 gearbox easily and will do good about economy.

    4K And Live Happy Ever...

If You Are Real Fan Of EFi......You Need 4EFE Mated With T-50 Via Adopter Plate

1N In Diesel...... But I Won't Suggest Unless You Love Torque So Much

    Honda engines = FWD configuration.
But the question is, will it do a burnout?
