    Default Engine swap in Toyota Crown From 2JZ-GE to 1G-FE

    Asslam O Alikum!
    today we started the engine swap previously it was fitted with 2JZ-GE but it was not good in fuel economy but the acceleration and performance was too much. so putting the acceleration and power at a side we decided to put some economy motor in the vehicle. so decided to swap it with the Toyota 1G-FE with ECT transmission. which was donated from the GX100 Toyota Mark 2 2001 model vehicle. folowing are some picture's of the swap. and will update later.

    One of the best engines i have driven is 1jz, 2jz, 1mz-fe(vvti) and 1uz-fe(vvti)
    if this is 1g-fe(vvti) it will only produce 160bhp as far as i know honda civic is producing 140bhp
    1- False friends r worst than open enemies , 2- Only Youth can change the system

    yes but the civic weighs a "few" kgs less as well..

    and i think its vvti less one..btw is this the same crown that was on for sale for some time @ g-9 markaz showrooms?

    ok guru G but we had not yet taken the test drive will be on the road after installng the Oxygen sensor. and analyzing the fuel trim's so will leave the connection for the CNG HYBRID at this time had to drive it petrol for 1000 km min for the performance and economy check's. this swap was done in a hurry only in 5 day's and our workshop in barakahu is still uncompleate so you will see the proper tool's and place and space for the swap.

    you are right but in the case of imported 2JZ and 1JZ they are already used too much so a customer cannot afford to change the emission related part's. I had tunned a Cresta last week and founded the trim's in +18 range so analyzed the o2 wave form and found the O2 sensor faulty so when I told the customer about it he ran toward the saddar and grab 30 of the used O2 a nonsence all of them were not working perfectly so ordered the new one in 18900/- from on part's dealer in saddar when the customer heard the amount (mootar nikal gaya us ka) so he put a rock on his heart and ordered the part after installation he is now enjoying his ride on petrol and is happy with it.

    oh yes I had the sale order for it too as it is body swaped crown and also the custom duty is not paid so thumb's down for the sale till now hope he get's a good customer.

    You have completely ignored two parts of my posts. One about my car's wiring being appropriate and tested although you wrongly assumed that it will not be the case and my question about clutch fan. This is all very typical and i fail to understand what is different here then what happens at any workshop in Sultan ka khoo or Mithu Khan. Your CNG Hybrid and EC1 has created some buzz here but that will fizzle out soon like mootar ka jhaag. i also fail to understand how you can make stupid remarks about customers like mootar nikal gaya. At least learn to be respectful of the people from whom you earn your living. To me you are no different than any Haji sahab of Mithoo khan or SUltan ka khoo. same recipe, same work technique and same level of respect and ethics. You end up here on pakwheels and share with us along iwth your tall claims, that is the only thing different about you.
    Keep a cool head and wear seatbelts!
