    Default Engine swap in Toyota Crown From 2JZ-GE to 1G-FE

    Asslam O Alikum!
    today we started the engine swap previously it was fitted with 2JZ-GE but it was not good in fuel economy but the acceleration and performance was too much. so putting the acceleration and power at a side we decided to put some economy motor in the vehicle. so decided to swap it with the Toyota 1G-FE with ECT transmission. which was donated from the GX100 Toyota Mark 2 2001 model vehicle. folowing are some picture's of the swap. and will update later.

    thats sad checked out your 86 thread nice job done but you had 15 days for the wiring job and you done it slowly . here we had to test,verify,again retest the harness within 5hours and then decides whether stick with it or change it and then comes the body wiring section. perfect timing of 2 hours for that job as the diagrams of both engine loom and body harness is (hifz) in our mind + laptop is also there if something is forgotton by me or my helper's so nitto job was on exterior. and no cuting's are done in the whole loom connection pin to pin.

    ECU And Main Harness Is Critical So You Have To Make It Close To OEM....!!

    No Wonder How You Did Is Done Everywhere......

    jusy guesing fro the loom taping you cannot guess that the connections are done samly like other doo . each and every thing is working icluding DLC3 for live feed back's . I had seen your swap project as well the ECU you are using also had the DLC 3 option had you connected it or not?

    Bhai Ap Har Cheez Ko DLC3 Banadete Ha Kamal Ha Apka

    Its OBD-1 My Dear And The Diagnosis Box Is COnnected....!

    No One Have OBD-1 Scanners Here Unlike That Fancy OBD-II Scanners Available For CHEAP..

    Doesn't Stop Me...Can Manually Check Sensors and Pull Codes By Putting It In Diagnosis Mode.....!

    and janab I had mentioned earlier that I am swapping this engine from a 2001 mark 2 grande and selecting this engine because it is OBD2 compatible and hence more intelligent then the previous generation's of the 1G's available in the market. so every wiring loom with DLC1 is not alway's OBD1 ok dear.

    OK guys here are some result's from our swap which we had done in this month the average acceleration is smooth and fine .total difference of 30% is feeled as compared to 2JZ-GE in initial acceleration and at each throttle position the engine respond's more quickly than the 2JZ-GE and totally smmoth drive as compared to 2JZ-GE .....
    HERE COME'S THE ECONOMY SECTION. our customer got 12.9 km/L milage from this engine under driving in islamabad max speed of 80km/H so it is not bad as other member's were thinking that it will under power the whole vehicle and this engine will not make in it etc hence proven all wrong. grabed some live data feed's for @Xulfiqar brother for inspection. and for @SER_GTR this one is OBD2 complaince so

    some fuel trim's graph and o2 graph's taken
    would like to receive some expert opinion from @xulfiqar bhai about the current trim's because later I am going to add the CNG HYBRID SYSTEM IN it so I think by doing this I can explain each and every thing to the Expert's here what I am doing right

    @Xulfiqar bhai g plz see the graph's and advice some improvalin the setup new oxygen sensor is already installed in it previous one (qabali one) was not performing well so replaced it.

    does yor scan tool have afr for fuel trim? or did you rename it afr pid is different

    we did rename it the upper one is short term fuel trim data and the lower one is long term fuel trim
