Default Prius Installing new shocks and springs

    Hello every one

I have prius 2011, I want to change its shocks and springs to increase height (ground clearance) like my corolla Altis,

Need help in this matter, is there any genuine extra height shocks and springs available for this purpose

If yes than how and where can I find them

    Professional advise needed

    Thanks

    I'm using 195/65r15
I have placed half inch Infront and half inch packing at back which has made my ride hard from back and front both
It has given me good ground clearance but lost the smoothness of ride

Any other suggestions ... I'm thinking for tire change to 205/65r16

Actually the packing you purchased was off 1.5 to 2 inches, let me share an experience, I first installed this packing on rear end of corolla07 . It looked hideous and breaking became worst, then I went back and had it removed. Took it for lathe shop and had him grinded both the packing equally till the time it reached half of its size and roughly near to half an inch. Had it re-installed and took the vehicle for back wheel alignment. Trust me, results were very good, car looked decent, braking improved to like it was before and no difference in comfort.

Why do people install packing ???? because CNG cylinder drops the back of car from its original height. It starts to hit the bump once loaded with passengers so basically we want the car to gain little bit of height and get compensated for CNG weight which has dropped the original height and yet not look hideous.

Actually I have placed packing exactly half inch in front and back
And my car is japnese prius which has low ground clearance
Becuase it's getting hits on jumps so I want to increase it's height and that's the reason I have placed this packing but it has hardened the rides comfort

    Guys;

Installing spacers changes the geometry of the car suspension please don't do this; instead use larger wheels & tyres

go for 195/70 r15 or 205/65 R15...the thick tirewall can increase the height also...increasing the rims size wont help
My lugnuts require more torque than your Vtec can put out...

Try getting the shocks n springs of Indus prius as they have special redesigned suspension for Pakistani roads.
