Default Poor output Mark X lights

    Hi guyz,
Recently purchased mark X. Well right side light in projection housing was not working. Tried to installed other used bulbs but was of no use. Also changed blaster (of course toyota original) but bulb switches off after few seconds.
Now my electrition installed brand new 55w hid set in projection housing.
Output is extremely depressing. I think these hid's are not meant to be installed in projection housing.
I am a little noob in this and want experts to help me out.
    Awaiting response.

    Will post output pics tomorrow

    Regards
    K.V

Usually the projector lens require D2S or D2R. The ones given to you by your electrician must be H7 or H11 etc...

Yes the lens require D2S but i dont know what exactly he has installed in them.
Now the question is from where to get D2S quality bulbs.

@faisalayub thanks for mentioning me and my thread. @killervtec Bro Mark x has OEM D4S HID headlights. D4S ballasts dont accept D2S bulbs same as D2S ballasts dont accept D4S bulb they turnoff after 5-10 secs. D4S ballasts(Denso/Koito black colored square shaped) and D4S bulbs are very rare and too much expensive. i will advise you to change both the ballasts and bulbs with D2S setup. I have OEM Denso/Koito D2S ballasts and very slightly used OEM Philips and Osram D2S bulbs. A friend of mine was having issues with his D4S headlight on his axio. He is more than satisfied now by having OEM D2S setup and output is much better now.
