    Default Suggest an engine for toyota crown

    Assalamualikum every body..
    Dear friends i need ur valueable suggetions about the engine for toyota crown.
    The stock engine is almost dead and now i have to swap another engine.
    Which engine should i choose which can give me fuel consumption of around 10km/l in city and 13-14 on hiway. No matter diesel or petrol.
    Diesel should be 90hp+ and petrol should be 110 hp+. Plz i am in hurry i hope all frndz will help me. Thanks...

    Brother I have seen 2005 Civic doing 5km/l that does not mean engine is not capable.

    yes 1g can be fitted with current gear box but for 2l you had to change the diff assy

    Bro i dont want an underpowered engine or good economy with any engine but i think there are powerful engines with good economy. Thats all ..

    Just for the record, i have a mark 2 grande with company fitted 1g-fe and gives 8 to 9 km in city and12 to 13km on long. FE stands for fuel economy after all. And with 160hp, you have enough power when you need it. Satisfied user.

    xx-FE in toyota nomenclature does not mean "fuel economy" to understand it - please read below.

    F = narrow angle valve head (22.5 degree valve angle)
    E = Electronic Fuel injection.
