    Yes right.
last month i visited Korea for a week. And was amazed to see their local made cars.
Hyundai, Daewoo, Kia and Sangyong, has plenty of best cars in Korea.
we are only have a very very few Korean cars here in Pak. But in their own country, these cars runs perfectly. Manufacturers normally gives guarantee (yes guarantee) upto 100,000 km.

Korean cars are more of a show piece. They come with loads of gadgets but in reality they're not worth the money. My uncle had a Rexton few years back, worked fine for a couple years but then it started giving some heavy problems. compact sedans might be good but luxury Korean vehicles are not worth a dime.

My Korean friend came to meet me on his rexton in my hotel and then we go out for dinner.
It was 2008 model and clocked 375k.
And car condition was still very strong and fully operated.

He said he just change the oil after 5K and don’t know much about cars. But once in a year he send it to company for general checkup (I think insurance people do this), and they do the necessary updates and stamp the car as good to go for another 50K.

He was in Korea, not Pakistan and I guess the good condition might be due to the insurance thing, because without insurance, maintaining a Rexton isn't an easy task, requires quite an amount of cash and time. I'm talking with ownership experience.
