    Default Toyota Premio Owners Club

Here is a thread to discuss Toyota Premio cars.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Allion
    Here is my Premio 2005.
It has done 230k kms but is going strong.
I'm getting 11 kmpl as of now, but will try to improve that gradually.
I've done 165 kph on M2 without trouble.
Planning to take it to karachi by road.

I think there is no Auto Function knob in the AC in the picture you uploaded, so its manual and not climate control per se

X doesn't have climate control in it

I think when u raise the ac temp through the up button after full temp it automatically goes to auto mode eg u set the temp to 18c then when u again press the temp up button it goes in auto climate mode.

What i meant was there is no AUTO button or knob so it can't be set to auto climate control, its just plain manual.

I think we are confusing climate controls and hi-lo in non cliamte controls, Auto management of air vents and temperature control only available in climate controlled cars. looking at the above pictures it looks premio with no climate controls still has auto flap movement with hi-lo temp buttons unlike dial wire or resistor controlled flaps of hot and cold air.
My car is a FL and it has auto button too, never know other option existed before seeing these.

It is a luxury sedan, that combines superior fuel economy with a smooth transmission, quite ride, and powerful performance.
They are sized and priced between Corolla and Camry. Premio is designed for local Japanese market & sister Allion is a sportier version compared to Premio. Premio is bigger in size than most sedans and is advertised as Family/Executive class. Premio's bloodline can be traced to the old Corona. It is mostly for middle aged, conservative driving style guys as advertised
Premio is supposed to be more luxury and traditional, while Allion appears to be younger but just in relative terms though.

These twins are designed to be cost effective and economical to run. They offer a fuel-saving CVT and 3 choices of engines: 110hp 1.5-liter VVT-i (which falls in lower tax band), 136hp 1.8-liter dual-VVT-i and the new 158hp 2.0-liter dual-VVT-i with Valvematic. The latter is Toyota's equivalent to BMW's Valvetronic, which continuously varies the lift of intake valves to reduce pumping loss and improve breathing efficiency. To a 1270 kg machine, the 158hp engine is plenty powerful.

Valvematic represents a positive evolution of Toyota's patented variable valve timing with intelligence technology (VVT-i ), allowing for throttle-free control of engine speed.

Regarding valvematic it provides some advantages

1.better operating performance; as the engine runs more efficiently
    2. good mileage; the latest technologies generate economical driving
    3.cleaner, greener operation
