Default Help for Toyota Rush: How to tell if it is 2WD or 4WD?

    Hello,
I am just about to buy an imported Toyota Rush in Paraguay. The car dealer I visited said it is an 4WD optional. Can this be true?

How can I see if it is an 2WD or 4WD? I really want a 4WD.

    Thanks for urgent help,

    Wolfram

In the old cars/jeeps 4WD is like a separate gear lever and is located right adjacent to the gear lever.
Am sure it should be similar in that car too.

4WD is usually mention on the Car body also like thick & permanent Sticker.

If cannot find, then get its Chasis number and google its specs. There are few websites who will give full specs of original car subject to no alteration has been made later.

the two wheel drive doesnt come with the button, only the 4wd has the differential locker. to confrim 4wd look underneath the car for a driveshaft going to the FRONT of the wheels or for cv joint boots on the front wheels by turning them out fully, 4wd one will have it, two wheel drive one will only be rear wheel drive.
