    Default Toyota Pixis Eco Idle

    Hi,

I just bought Toyota pixis space 660cc wit eco idle. what I observed is when I press brake paddle, engine gets off completely and as I release pressure on brake paddle, engine gets start with proper self start sound. Note that this happens randomly not all time. What I judged is after some configured counts of brake paddle pushes, Engine gets off and It only happens on D mode not on N mode.

I wanted to ask if this a usual behavior?

Congrats for your new car. Well the behavior you explained is completely normal and actually this is called eco idle feature. It saves fuel by turning of engine whem car is stopped. Nothing to worry bro good luck
