Default Review require on Toyota Passo, Daihatsu Boon and Daihatsu Sirion

    AssalamoAlaikum,

Can anybody please provide a detailed review of Toyota Passo? Specially somebody who own this car for quite some time.
This car is available in local market with three names that is, Toyota Passo, Daihatsu Boon and Daihatsu Sirion.
The review should cover the following:

    1. Driving experience.
    2. Spares availability? (I've heard Toyota Pakistan imports its parts?)
    3. Fuel Economy? (Can it be converted to CNG).
    4. As per dealers, this car sharing common parts of Toyota Vitz.. is it true?

Would appreciate precious comments from all of you – Thanks.

I have been using Passo since about two months and my experience says that it is a very nice and compact car, smooth to drive and quite comfortable. All kind of spare parts are available in Bilal Gunj, Lahore but as u r in Karachi, spare parts wont be a problem as they r directly imported there. Its petrol consumption is abt 9 km/ltr with A.C. and 13km/ltr without it. As for cng, it can be successfully installed in Passo and its cng consumption is half that for petrol, so its a wise choice.

I am also looking for Passo review from its owners.

One thing which don't match according to my knowledge from a web page for Passo, its economy.
MyVi = Toyota Passo Review - Autoworld Forum

It is a highly appreciated car for economy in japan and europe.

    Ecomony:
56.5 miles per gallon = about 23km / per liter

Why is does not apply to Pakistan Passo as it is also imported from japan ???????

    Any comments on this ?

    Kind Regards,
    Abdul Qadar

Hey bro, there are many reasons for this.... the first is the fuel quality which is very much low as compared to japan, secondly the roads which u know how we have over here, and the driving style matters the most....

I m using Passo 2007 for last 3 months. Its a good value for money as u can't have a 1000cc car in that price.
    Looks are OK.
    Ride is comfortable.
    Cabin is quite spaciuos.
    AC is good.
Have plenty of features like Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Adjustable lights, airbags and many more.
Fuel consumption on highways without AC is 19-20 Kms/Litre
In City it is around 17 Kms/Litre
I never installed a CNG in any of my cars so can not comment on CNG but I know people who have installed CNG and they are satisfied with it.
    Parts are easily available.
In short it is low cost maintenance car. Highly recomended.

owning passo for 10 months now

if u r going for a 660cc car, better buy a 1000 cc Passo.. it gives u almost same fuel efficiency

excellent AC cooling... but with AC a bit underpowered but it can be managed
    very smooth ride

I have a Toyota Passo 2010 (2013 registered) 1000cc in excellent condition. Costs 11 lac. Mileage is easily 16-17km/l with AC in Islamabad - confirmed. Drive is very comfortable, AC is very chilling, Car is very spacious. You will not regret buying Passo 2010 if you get one in good condition.

Yes brother as i have heard that 2010 and up models have really good petrol average
The most plus point which i like about passo is its rear passenger space which can easily accommodate upto 5 adults like my 96 corolla and so far in 1000cc class no car in Pakistan can do that so hats off
