Default Toyota Passo/Daihatsu Boon Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this thread is to discuss and share views regarding Daihatsu boon/Toyota passo and to provide a common platform for the owners and potential buyers to discuss the car.
Passo/Boon has become quite popular in the last 2 or 3 months. People are getting curious to know about this car which offers better features than the overpriced 1000cc vitz in a better price tag. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. Realistic advices on prices regarding the condition and model of car will be provided.

But one important thing i want to mention, dont u think that the prices of sofa seats are too much, i mean 15 + 23 + 29 = 67 thousands... and when the japan sale tax will apply it will further increase, and when custom duty at port will be applied it'll further increase...

So wot is the fun in getting that much expensive seats... its better to sale your X version and buy sofa seat version...
it is high yes....but im not going for the entire rear and front.....im just going for the front seats.....plus the old ones should fetch some money as well....no point in keeping them....

problem with me selling this variant and going for the other is budget....ill have to add a lot of surplus to buy a newer version...approx 4lac....and rite now im FOKUT invested everything in my biz and i cant afford to buy a new car with all the reg formalities on top.

so spending a few thousands on seats is better for my budget rather than lakhs on a new car.....

I want to buy 1000cc for my wife she is already using 2012 Altis cruise tronic, pls. Suggest & what about fuel average in city & Ac in Rawalpindi's summer.
I have not used Passo yet, but ppl claim 15 km/l in city 18-20 km/l on long,,, i m tryong to import a passo, and all this information is gathered after i got ditched by a dealer in islamabad... with some loss of money as well..

in rwp, i have already mentioned 2 passo's, silver and red wine, both are good with verified auction sheets... I'll recommend u red wine...

if your budget is a bit less, u can go for suzuki alto 2012 but that is 660 cc, a very good car 4.5 AA grades, 17k mileage, not a single scratch on body, it is on ship, the person is same in both cases.... alto and passo both wud be ok for yr wife...

Exclamation 2005 Toyota Passo -- Central locking cannot lock & unlock using key fob - HELP...

Good day people, I just have recently bought a 2005 Toyota Passo a week ago. The Central locking was working fine using key fob until I replace the car battery because It was too weak and cannot start the car. Now it has NEW Car battery and now It seems the key fob(smart remote) does not response whenever I press the lock and unlock button on the key fob (smart remote). After that just to make it sure, I replace the smart remote battery and still no luck. Tried several steps and procedure from online but I cannot find for Toyota Passo steps and procedure to sync the smart key.

    > The car is not from a dealer. I bought it from private sale online.
    > The car does NOT have physical key or emergency key
    > I only have the ONE KEY FOB(Smart key or do you call it transponder?)
    > I CAN start the car no problem
    > I check the D/Lock fuse is ok
    > Dome Fuse is ok
    > New battery and identical from OEM for key fob

Now my car is left unattended and open all the time

Any people have same problem that I have? please share your steps.

Is there any procedure that I can re sync my key ? Please help....
