Default Toyota Passo/Daihatsu Boon Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this thread is to discuss and share views regarding Daihatsu boon/Toyota passo and to provide a common platform for the owners and potential buyers to discuss the car.
Passo/Boon has become quite popular in the last 2 or 3 months. People are getting curious to know about this car which offers better features than the overpriced 1000cc vitz in a better price tag. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. Realistic advices on prices regarding the condition and model of car will be provided.

That's why I don't like these Hi tech gadgets, I prefer lock and keys- the old fashion way!

My friend, sorry to say but this not the solution of the problem. We have to leave this ostrich approach and move on with the technology advancements with other nations.

Where are you from bro ?
if you are from RWP - there is a person who deals in Passo And Vits Remotes and he is very talented in what he do.

I can send you his shop address.

i dont think the problem is cause of battery cause these remotes works with sensors that is usually located between the front seats or sometimes inside the dashboard so i would ask you to first check by keeping the remote near these places OR change the cells in your remote Simple. i think that would help you.

    Thanks

Response of AC on congested roads is pretty good when it comes to small cars, (obviously cars with bigger engines 1.6 or 1.8ltr engines have better response)
but upto 1.3ltr engines category, AC response of Passo 1.0 ltr is pretty impressive.

there is not much difference with and without AC,
as summer has just came, i have just used AC upto first or second Fan speed. but not fully utilized AC yet.

without AC, mileage of my Passo (with original tyres) was 17-18 km/ltr (all mixed including highway, rushy areas, small roads, rough roads, where brakes are often applied)

but with bigger tyres (185/70/13), it dropped about 1-2 km/ltr
