    Default Toyota Passo/Daihatsu Boon Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this thread is to discuss and share views regarding Daihatsu boon/Toyota passo and to provide a common platform for the owners and potential buyers to discuss the car.
    Passo/Boon has become quite popular in the last 2 or 3 months. People are getting curious to know about this car which offers better features than the overpriced 1000cc vitz in a better price tag. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. Realistic advices on prices regarding the condition and model of car will be provided.

    No, 15" is not recommended by manufacturer.

    The following are recommended:

    Tires for Toyota Passo 2007:

    Diameters: 13'' - 14''
    Width (mm): 155 - 175
    Tire aspect ratio (%): 65 - 80
    Smallest tire size: 155/80 R13
    Largest tire size: 175/65 R14

    Rims for Toyota Passo 2007:

    Bolt pattern 4x100
    Diameter: 13'' - 14'';
    Width (inches): 4.5 - 5;
    Offset (mm): 35 - 40.

    But I shall give you one specification later for 15" rim which shall work out on Passo 2007.

    The following shall also work for Passo 2007 with 15" rim:

    Rim width: 5" to 5.5"
    Tyre size: 185/55 r15 with offset= +37

    If you cannot find 185/55, then 185/60 r15 can also be used. But best is 185/55 r15.

    i will share pics,
    Usually i buy cars with simple colors, like white, silver, or other light colors.
    this time i got Red Wine,
    this color obviously requires more care, as tiny scratches are also visible on these dark colors, and dust is also easily visible.

    Well, I visit Ustad Mehnga" a famous Dry Denter, got his number from Pakwheels as mostly members recommend me, He estimate 7000 with much attitude, no doubt in his workshop mostly JDM cars are there but he even don't know how to respect the customer, I call at 2 pm for address confirmation and visit arround 5 pm. he said "Mil gya time tawanu? halay v nai c aana? jao jithon merzi kerwa lo, when i said k Ustad G thori kami ker lo 5000 tak"

    he said, aapka bonnet da side clip tota hai, headlight ka clip b thek nai, bumber wale ne 1000 le lena hai etc... or at the end he was trying k wo abi bumper utar leta hai kaam start kerta hai kal gari de jana sham ko le jana...

    I leave his place with Goli of re visit after two days. my friend recommend me a denter who fix this issue in just 2000 and he said No need to do any work on bumper...its little noticeable ..I'll share picture after repair...

    Denting and painting is a speciality called "Funkari" and Funkar will do nakhra. It's the price of his high quality work which he is asking for.

    I agree with you on this, but some people cannot absorb this special Funkari gift from Allah and rather being humble become proud and rude.

    Use 5w30 full synthetic oil with API SN / ILSAC GF-5 specification. It's your choice which brand to use, but I advise Liquimoly.

    Do not use 5W20 or 5W40.

    Hey everyone! I'm about to buy a passo in a day or two, the car I've decided to buy is a '14 +HANA, but the issue is that the car lacks keyless start option. Can anyone please conform if it's an optional accessory or it comes standard in all +HANA Passo. I so needed a full option car but I guess I would have to settle with one without those accessories. Does anyone know that is it possible to get an aftermarket knob start installed?

    Hana plus does not lack push start, the car you are looking at is Hana-C version, which lack push start...

    Bottom line: Hanna comes with toyota Alloy rims, chrome handles, automatic AC with climate control,keyless entry, push start with Immobilizer... rest all is ******** that local sellers narrate. those are other packages that they mix with hana to fool the purchasers.

    Naah Doc I've confirmed it from my sources. In 2014-15 model years +HANA comes in 3 packages. 1. +HANA C-package. 2. +HANA. and 3.+HANA G-package. the one that comes with Alloys and Keyless start is G-package, but you can get them as optional accessories if you want any of them in the rest of the packages.
