13 is OEM size & the max you do is get 165/75/SR 13 Yokohama if you wish to achieve better fuel economy - wider / bigger (14 or 15 size) the tyre poor fuel economy.

Have u changed the tyres or not? As the tyres which come with car are bit hard, so humming can be of these tyres. Yesterday i drove at 100, with two persons and two kids, i didnt feel any noise except for the humming of tyres.

And wait for transmission oil, my brother is not at home, as sson as he comes back i ll give u the name of transmission oil which my mechanic put into my car.

    I know the humming sound!
But the car felt it felt like it needed another gear in order for the RPM to drop!
felt like when you drive a manual car upto 60 - 70 km/h in the second gear

The only thing which is left is its tyres! Which tyres should i go for? Suggest plz.

I have seen dunlop size 13, cost 5.7k per piece.

Yes I have dunlop tyres, 155 (or 165?) 80/R13. Factory specs are for 13 inch tyres (or 14 inch for 1300/1500 cc models). So those should give you best performance. They work like a charm.

Are you using the OD button???

    few things for you:

    1) Check mileage on Japanese auction receipt. If above 60,000 km, take it to Toyota 3S and ask them to change the transmission oil. Don't take it to other folks as they might mess up the gear box.

    2) Change your engine oil

    3) get your throttle body cleaned as it might be getting blocked

    4) check for leakages / health of spark plugs and replace if required

    5) drive with OD on for all speeds above 70 km/h. It is the 5th gear essentially, and manages your engine RPM for high speeds

If these don't work about the engine noise issue, you can always close the car windows and turn the AC on (some music also helps).

    Cheers!

@ Raza1: great car man! But change your sound system to one that fits the slot and the interior color and it should be gold!

All the best! Do keep sharing performance updates including what mileage you are getting and what work you got done on your car and how it helped.

    Cheers!

Its original navigation system got stolen from dealer's house, as he forgot to close one glass of window.

This is kenwood cd plus usb player (it was in my previous SE saloon), so was lying idle at my home. It is not installed (in pics), it is just kept loose to fill the gap. Electrician has just fitted the tape, put side collars in it, now looking great. I ll post fresh pics soon.

Hmm... the work done so far is changed gear oil, plugs, engine tuning, and small work in steering box (something was free and giving noise of dhug dhug) now fixed.

Great drive, now just leaving for tyre change.
