Default Toyota Passo/Daihatsu Boon Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this thread is to discuss and share views regarding Daihatsu boon/Toyota passo and to provide a common platform for the owners and potential buyers to discuss the car.
Passo/Boon has become quite popular in the last 2 or 3 months. People are getting curious to know about this car which offers better features than the overpriced 1000cc vitz in a better price tag. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. Realistic advices on prices regarding the condition and model of car will be provided.

    Hello Guys,

I must say that this site is really useful. It has given a lot of insites on the Passo. I have recently bought a Passo for around 15K, its been with me for about 3 months.... I have noticed that there are a lot of symbols, like the air bag, oil, hot/cold engine indicator..etc..will anyone be able to take pictures of it and explain to me what all means?..... and what does the ionizer thingy do?

Googled this, but didnt get what i was searching for. Perhaps i can provide the picture and one if you can explain what each symbol indicates...? Let me know...

yes, changing tyres is a feasible option, although it reduces fuel mileage to some extent, but provides more clearance, and grip to your car.
    - wnd option is to install spaces, which is in no way recommended, it ruins the driving pleasure, and suspension too.

[QUOTE=BilalAhmedSiddiqui;3293245]Salam Brother . I have recently bought Toyota Passo and it is on its way to Islamabad from Karachi . Below are some of the pics ( Japan Port ) attached.

@BIlal: Since it seems you imported the car in 2012, how has been your experience with Passo? Also can you guide me through the import process, as in 2013 I am finding importing Passo more expensive than probably buying an already imported one!
Would be grateful if you or anyone can help in getting/importing a 4.5 grade Passo G full option for around 1.0 million.
