After keeping passo 2006, 2008 and 2009 I came to the conclusion that passos are not very fuel efficient cars. It gives 8.5 to 10 kmpl in local and upto 13/14 on motorways I.e the straight stretch of motorways, the average comes down as soon as you are on an inclined path.
Catalytic converter removal would not effect any sensor etc or fuel efficiency but it would slightly make it better pick wise.

For me passo is a very specious easily maneuverable small city car with below average fuel efficiency.

if u r facing fuel consumption problem then u can try an additive in engine oil as engine restorer. by using this u can improve power, life & noise of engine. name of that product is nano energizer. by using in my car 10-12 % fuel consumption decreased.

    Default Reset the Avg. Meter.

You should give it a try. Reset the avg counter by holding the reset button on the speed o meter. If nothing happens then try resetting the trip counter. In my honda city ivtec, i used to reset the counter like this. First it showed v.less avg but after 100 to 500 kms of distance the avg gradually increased. The avg on the meter is not correct always.

Aoa, I have a 2012 passo. The issue is that my average is fixed at 10.8km. It rarely fluctuates by 0.1km up or down. Even with light foot. Any guidance? Is this an electrical issue for meter reading rigidity?

I have Passo Model 2014. It's giving me 20-21 with AC at Motorway within a speed limit of 110km/h. Local it's giving 15-16 with AC. Excellent drive and I am quite satisfied with it's fuel average.

Ws. Plz check if it is 4WD. U can check it from chassis number. KGC 35 is in fact 4WD/ AWD vehicle which consumes more fuel than 2WD Passo.

it must be among new models that come with CVT.
because older AT types gives 13~14KM/L in city with AC.

As per my meter I'm getting 15km/l in city with light foot. I'll calculate manually by filling full tank and repost.
    My transmission is CVT
