Default Installing CNG in Passo 2007 :D

    Hello guys,
After a lot of thinking, I have finally made up my mind of installing CNG kit in my Passo.
I know a lot of people would stop me from doing so because of various reasons but they all are justifiable.
The only thing that matters now is if it is feasible to install CNG in Passo 2007?

I need your input. I want to take this roller coaster ride. Just guide me and trust me this thread will be experience thread that would guide other pak wheel fellows to either go for CNG or not.

So far I have made up mind as
    - I ll be installing CNG kit from CNG kit zone on Jamshed road in Karachi which I have heard is best?
    - Lambda kit: As I have heard that automatic cars run best on this kit.
    - Spark Iridium plugs. Don't know much but a lot of people had good pick with using these.

The reason I have opted for CNG is that I drive my car over 50 km daily. My car gives 13km/l averagely because the roads in Karachi actually sucks due to traffic. I am a internee and I can't shell out 400rs each day for travel alone. I know I can go for Pakistani cars but I hate them. Besides I have seen lots of Passo in CNG queues that have had CNG kits. Besides I have heard that CNG works great in non cvt simple auto cars.

UPDATE: Finally got myself CNG installed in my Passo from CNG kit Zone. Have driven 12 km for now. Very exhausted now, will test drive more in the morning tomorrow. Anything in particular would you like to add in my test drive so that I could test it extensively?

    Here are the CNG specs:
Landi Rezo CNG kit with Lambda
    Neutec Advancer and emulator
    KEC Cylinder
    Advancer

I was charged 59k for the complete setup.

    Dear All,

the best CNG kit for Toyota Passo (Engine IKR-FE) is Landi Renzo Omegas (Sequential Injection System) with STAP300 or STAP 500.
2nd Option could be Lambda control system. But sequential injection system is recommended.

    Thank you,

Drove 100km today. Here is my thought. If you are someone who is impatient and cant live without the wonderful pick of the car when you throttle, then cng will not work for you. The performance of the passo is good in a way that it can achieve 120km/h speed but the time it takes to reach that point is more compared to petrol and when I say more, I mean its bery noticiable.
I own a corolla 2004 too and I would say, nothing beats corolla in terms of performance over cng.

Now should you get the cng installed in passo is entirely upto you, I for instance wouldnt care for the blazing fast throttle because I honestly drive like a od man. I would never have gone for cng but my daily commute requires me to have a car that should be very economical since I drive over 60 km a day.

Drove 200 km. The pick has increased but still not compared to that of petrol but still pretty reasonable.
Is there no one else who has installed cng in his passo

actully waqar bhai in 1000s of passo there are 20-30 maximum which has cng intalled passo is for petrol driving but as you says you fill dailly petrol of 400-500 so its quite costly.so in your case you have made right decision of installing cng in passo and all passo owners now atleast get setisfied whenevr they see this thread as they have now option of installing cng.
and yes there is difference in petrol and cng petrol is 200 times faster than cng .

My two cents: Go for CNG if your daily drive is above 50 km. If its less than that, its not worth it.
