Default Connected wrong terminals to the battery on my beloved new jdm. Help

Salam to all. Im new and have been a silent observer of threads and enjoy reading but today Im having to ask for help.

I recently bought a jdm passo 2008 unreg and the car was parked for a quite long time because I was out of city. Now when I came back. I cleaned my car and when starting, found my battery too low to start (silent but not completely dead) so I decided to jump start the car and took another battery out of my other car and connected jump-start cables while keeping my second battery on the floor bjt the jumper cable clips seemed to weak to start so they didnt work.

Now I told my partner-at-work to sit in the car and Ill ask him when to give "self/sulf" so I decided to pick up the second battery and let the battery connect by holding the battery upside down and touching the battery +ve and -ve points to the dead battery in the car (while the terminals of the car being connected to the dead battery) to start quickly and let the dead battery charge. NOW here I made a huge blunder that I mistakenly didnt see positive and negative sides of the battery and kept the +ve end on the negative side and the negative end on the positive side of the battery in my hand to the car's dead battery and asked my partner to start thr car. He tried but I noticed a light smoke coming out of the four met batteries's positives and negatives end while being in contact so I immediately kept the battery away and now when I give switch to the car the O/D lights (over drive light) on the cabin's meter keep blinking and the dvd's display is gone, the cabin's light which is kept on "DOOR" doesnt switches on when I open the drivers side door and the japanesse girl's sound and door-opened beep doesnt comes Im hell scared its my new beloved car. What damage have I done to the car and its ECU ? And to what extent? And how do I reverse this blunder of mine now? Please experts help me.

    @Xulfiqar sir please help.

in my opinion there is no harm in it (expert may best suggest), because unless u don't put it on trial how can u come to know whether is there any fuse blown/ ecu problem etc.(though fuses can be checked manually) might be it start on half self . ( i think when you jump/terminal start, your car battery come to quite end and that's why u did not see or listen etc.)

Ecu is not that easy to fry, check all the fuses and I'm quite sure it won't be anything serious. These things happen you just need to be extra careful in future.

ecu probably is fine, voltage regulator costs 500 rs, replace it, alternator may not function properly in this state.

If i were u i would stop playing with my car and call a battery electrician and let him do the trick. After getting it successfully started check all the fuses and if need replace voltage regulator. Don't worry ECU's r not that easy to fry. The problem can only be rectified after starting the car.

Bhai jaan mechanic takes max 500 for visit at home. All in all it was just a 500 rupees job. u could have removed the battery and taken it to battery shop for charging

Anyways. Do not take the matters into your hands any more. Bring in an electrician and arrange/borrow a working battery for damage assessment.

Ahan, Thats why i avoid fiddling with the electronics. Although the battery going down of my Auto's is pretty rare but if it ever happens i grab a rickshaw and bring a Technician or Call some relative with torching wires. Manuals r easy as they r Push Start
Thank God these efi cars don't break down to often warna in carby cars every week my car had to go on a Date with the Mechanic

    Thanks everyone.

Basically I never play with the car's electronic because Im not at all familiar with electronics. I was just too mentally tired as it was a hectic day and I was doing this at night I was too tired picking up the battery and tipping it so I got a bit careless and it caused this to happen. However, I am very familiar with old school cars and even the latest technology and I do all my work myself without the assistance of mechanics but ECU se related cheezain aur electric components se bohot khof ata hai mujhe nahi samajh ati electronic games ecus ki.

Lets see what happens when I start up the car

Bhai jaan first step first, bring a working battery and then try to start car with it so that you come to know which parts are affected. You defintely need an electrician.

@Xulfiqar sir this has given me tension that you said I need to replace the voltage regulator on alternator/generator. So are you sure it must be damaged? And how do I verify that it got damaged? And for this I have to take off the engine/ac compressor/alternator belt and take off the alternator and change it?

Please Ill be very thankfull if you reply all of my these questions..

    Regards.

It's been at least three days now since all this happened , why don't you take the care to electrician or better if you just bring him to car.

the first step here is to check the fuses, first you are through them then ECU will tell itself if its fried or not, probably not and max job would be to replace diodes on it. If not passo ECU is common and must be around 7-8k
You do not need a running car to jump start another car. Get a good quality charged battery and mak connections or simply install it in car. I think passo has main fuse links in the +ve terminal of battery cover, they are the first one to fry. Check them.
