    Default Problem in toyota passo.

Hello, i have a 2007 toyota passo. Great car.
I have had it for a while, but recently the compressor had to be replaced as there was an issue with the air conditioner.
I got it replaced but after the car came back from workshop, the fuel average dropped to 5km/l.
I drove it for a 100 kms, the mileage came up to 9.9.
I know that the air filter and oil filter need to be replaced as they havent been replaced in a long time.
So i wanted to ask, what else should i get checked? I mean, except for the air filter an oil filter, what other factors could be affecting my mileage?

    The correct combination of oils.
    2007 passo has 1KR-FE.
Engine oil should be ZIC A+ 5w-20
Gear oil should be T-IV (because your car is not CVT).
Check the color of coolant. If need to change, then change it to Toyota's long life coolant (its expensive). If want cheap one, then ZIC Super A.
Passo also has "A/C Filter". Its fixed somewhere in the dash board inside car. Ask mechanic to change it too if its not changed yet.

    Thanks for the reply.
But i got it checked at toyota. The oil, filters, coolant, catalytic converter, everything i fine.
Turns out the new compressor is the issue. Its too heavy for passo as it is of gli. Its not tripping or something. Plus the gas used in the ac is not compatible with this ar due to compression ratios.
So the people at toyota suggested changing the compressor.
Can you tell me the cost of a kabuli compressor?

Search the market bro. Note down the model & part number of compressor, know about gas, etc.
then go out, visit toyota dealers, spare part market, etc.
if you are from Lahore, then visit Montogomery Road and Bilal Ganj. Am sure you will find it from there. Because such things never gives any hard time unless something seriously happened. But machines are machines.

Try following link. Perhaps it will be helpful for you. Its very comprehensive information about 1KR-FE.
