Here in Pak. the fuel quality is not very good. And secondly the cost of the fuel filter is only Rs. 150~180.
So I am changing it every after 5K.

For transmission oil, first you have to find its CVT or AT. After that oil will be chosen accordingly.

By the way, life of transmission oil is 50K. Some companies like LM says their transmission oils can last upto 80~100K. But again, 50K is enough time for this job.

Passo?s transmission oil chamber has bolt to drain the oil. After draning, need to open the whole chamber which has 12~16 screws and again almost 200~300ml oil will come out.
Have to fit this chamber back very nicely and then fill it with new oil.

Ask mechanic to open the chamber very carefully and DO NOT damage its original gasket. Because its new original gasket is not available.

if the ATF cooler is oldschool and pumps out to the cooler in the radiator then dont even remove the drain bolt from the sump or even remove the sump, simply remove the return line from the cooler and start the engine, drain out 2 litres at a time and top off 2 litres, do this 4 times and you will have 95% new ATF in there.

drain and fill from sump only removes about 40% ATF charge from the gearbox.

Most conventional automatics take 8 liters or more ATF. Most of it is trapped in the torque converter, valve body, etc.

But passo/vitz (1KR-FE) manual says it takes 4L transmission oil only.

That is the partial drain and fill quantity. The full drain and fill will get all the dirty ATF out, which is better for transmission life in the long run.

Some things are not listed in the car manual; you have to be a little innovative there. Provided, it doesn't outright oppose the manufacturer's recommendations, or cause damage.

There is no special or particular fuel filter for passo. Its very common thing and is available with many oil shops.
it comes in couple of shapes with slightly different location of plastic pipes. All what you have to do is, to cut the incoming fuel supply pipe and fix this fuel filter between it.
you can use any shape which suites best in your car. But remember, Petrol Fuel Filters and Diesel Fuel Filters, both are different.

The issue is not fuel filter alone, the fuel pump has a life of around 150K, so best to change assembly around 100K.

The fuel filters are very cheap (only Rs. 150~250) and these comes in very few shapes only and we can adjust/fix them with any kind of vehicle.
You just have to cut the fuel supply pipe which supplies fuel to Engine and fix this filter with two clumps.

Most of the petrol fuel filters are absolutely same. Just the difference is between the angle of intake/outtake nosels. I will see if I can get a picture of it. It is very simple and DIY project. But just you have to make sure that which pipe to cut and fix this fuel filter.

For its life. Just keep it looking after every two weeks. When its very dirty, then change it or open it clean it and fix it back. However be careful about the leakage after fixing it back.

So I am changing it every after 5K.

For transmission oil, first you have to find its CVT or AT. After that oil will be chosen accordingly.

Ask mechanic to open the chamber very carefully and DO NOT damage its original gasket. Because its new original gasket is not available.
Opening of chamber for ATF or CVT change is not recommended at all. Its just a way of mechanics to rip customers off.

For CVT , its very technical to change fluid. Many people damage their transmission by pouring IN more than the transmission can handle. There is an article here on PW which gives exact step by step procedure of changing fluid on notorious Vitz and passo.
