    That is to stabilise current in electronic equipment of car, so i assume it must b helpful for Air Con as well

    However, expert opinion is still awaited

    @majeedaamir @Ocean

    Thank you for posting pictorial help for reaching the filter.
    will check tomorrow i.s.A

    So the voltage stabilizer is claimed to improve or smooth idling besides helping other electronics
    For car AC it "might" help if your car is iddling extreme low or eratic and compressor not engaging at all or tripping more then usual

    even in that case i would recommend general tunning /throtle / plug / filters (to bring back stable idling )
    unless you are using 6 pairs of HID's and a stroker kit base tube etc which can justify a voltage stabilizer
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    Havent installed anything extra, already done plugs and oils. @hash4u have you observed that while pushing break paddle, blower speed gets bit slow. And yea compressor is tripping to much when stuck on congested roads in the after noon and high temperature (hight temperature causes high resistance resultant low voltage and fluctuation in current) so thats the reason i was thinking of voltage stabiliser, lets see what happened as i am still thinking and getting feedback on it.

    Exactly! I have the same issue in my Passo.
    I think it is normal.
    On sunny days, my car's ac is such that one does not feel cold/chilled but the sweating is minimized.
    Whereas, in mornings, evenings and at night, i feel cold and i have to switch the ac off even in the city.

    Okay guys after a bit of searching I have found out the Ac compressor of Vitz and Passo...indeed they both use different compressors ... don't know about technicalities but from pictures passo's compressor is smaller then vitz's

    Yup...the small compressor in passo is made to work in normal temperatures not in Pakistani environment which is 45c in summers. It obviously switches itself off to prevent overheating.

    @Nabeel_Ali @hash4u

    Got the car AC checked from Abu Bakar G-8,

    According to him, is is perfectly fine and thats due to high temperature these days. Option is to swap compressor and condenser with Vitz one as Vitz is having Big condenser and compressor as mentioned by you as well.

    Or one can just throw water on condenser and it will work fine for some time.

    Out of nowhere idea came in mind to install viper motor with additional viper bottle and two nozels in front and install button inside, when car is idling in hot weather just spray twice to get the results, what do you say..........

    upgrading compressor means sacrificing the economy + putting extra load on the car
    my suggestion is to compare with one of us ( arrange meet up with any passo owner ) before doing something drastic with the car (for comparison sake )

    windscreen washer idea is pretty old for mehran owners. they are probably doing it since dinosaur time

    I agree with @hash4u..I would suggest you to keep your car stock... you might need to alter many things. Plus winter is coming. And islamabad is not as hot as lahore.

    And yes pour some water on condenser when you leave home ... this is enough. No need to worry

    Agreed, as i am not planning to put load on engine and will run it stock InshAllah.

    Means we have to enter that old age like Mehro owners

    I have no idea about passo that whether it has same Ac or condenser. I was just sharing my experience.

    P.s I am not here to discourage any passo owner. I just commented because vitz and passo have same engine.

    One thing has been established by the price of Vitz and Passo that there are some compromises made by Toyota in Passo to keep it low cost. Therefore in 1000CC category Vitz has many advantages over other 1000CC car. Although I do not own vitz but drove it of a relative, its AC is superb.
