Can u elaborate how can one find whether a car(i.e Passo variants) has immobilizer or not?
Any Passo with Remote key/ Smart key will be having Immobilizer as a standard feature.

Waise let me tell u guys something
The Immobilizer we think these japs have is not immobilizer but a security system equally secure as an Immobilizer
In Immobilizer the car can only start with the coded key. Any other key inserted and the alarm goes of and engine gets immobilized, The door opening closing with any key has no connection with immobilizer and the valuables inside r still at risk.
Now what does Japanese gives us?
The System in Japanese cars takes signals from remote, Once you lock it, the Car enters security mode after 50-20 secs and a red light starts flashing inside as a sign that car is secured. Now when u try to open it by moving the inner locks or by inserting another key. The Engine goes into security mode and the horn starts beeping which can only be stopped if original key is inserted. But if u unlock the car by remote and then start or operate with a normal key. The car will behave normally and start with the simple key. In short in japs the security is controlled by the remote and not the key while in immobilizer the key is coded.

1.what i understand from the is that JAPS remote key is better than immobilizer

    point to be cleared..........
2.If cars engine locks itself due to some mischief than it can simply be unlocked by the original key...........???

Yes if the alarm goes off the horn will start honking and can only and only be stopped by inserting the original key.

Specially corolla should have had it. It's theft magnet already.
I hope the auto policy comes soon and addresses these issues.

Dont worry, Corolla and Immobilizer will never be together. The Auto Policy isn't gonna be fruitful anyway.

    No it does not have.

You can see there is a simple (metal only) key. it does not have any RFID chio inside it.
that key can start the car.

Bro that car is no jdm is equipped with immobilizer. Instead it has a different alarm as I explained above. That steel key can only work if car is unlocked by remote.

There's no immobilizer in key start Passo. I got to know about the thing that you mentioned above and I tried it on my passo. but it started as it normally does, although I waited more than 5 mins before the car.

No, maybe in some cars, they have some other alarm (other than Immobilizer).

I have just checked again to confirm. THe steel key can unlock the doors as well as start the car, without the help of remote key.

Dr. Usman sb, you can confirm by starting the car with the metal only key.
If it starts the car, then car does not have any type of alarm installed in it.
