    Hello guys,

i have a question regarding registration of Passo 2012

i have got my car registered from Rawalpindi, they have delivered the papers at home after due time. i want to know which paper is the actual registration paper ? the car was on first owner name who actually imported the car (the passport guy) so technically i am the second owner so will i only have the change of ownership paper ?

Should i expect a paper similar to new local car registration ?

So finally Zic A+ has decided to kick back in after listening to so many comments, giving some good avergaes...

Today when i reached motorway, first have a "S mode" test, the car reaches 140 with ease... Then converted to D mode... And there was no noise of the engine, and the car was glued to the road...

    My obervation is that.
    1. A document you receive after getting it registered on first owner (the one who imported it)
2 Then there is change of ownership document.

i did not get any other relevant document apart from this through courier.

Can you please mention the exact name of that document which you are referring to ? or is possible a snapshot would help a great deal.

Good decision made regarding the oil. Did some detailed study a long time back and have been sticking with A+ for last 1.5 years. Mileage on my 1.5 Nissan swapped engine gone up from 13kpl to 16kpl after shifting to A+.

Have no experience of LM or Mobil 1, but higher viscosity generally means drop in fuel avg.

Btw, I change oil at 7k Km. A+ is coming in new packing (5W20 is FE-7, i think)

1kr engine is coming to Pakistan for last 10 years approx, so engine parts, filters, brake pads etc is not an issue at all, available at all dealerships and you can get original Japanese one also form reputed shops in open market...

Regarding body parts, you have to visit some specific places, like Saddar and Sultan ka Khoo in Rawalpindi, Sher Shah in Khi and some other places also, i dont know names, Bilal Ganj in lahore etc etc.... Every thing is available, a bit expensive though as are imported...

155/80R13 is not going to give you better ground clearance go for any R14 size you will get little better clearance
T115/70D14 is a spare wheel size

    hahaha

Aqua is under test these days... Already tested 2... Grand analysis will be after few days, when i'll be able to gather some relevant stuff...

In the meanwhile, i had bid for 3 aquas and i lost all... Aqua is going high these days, the car which i picked in 1125 few months back is touching 1300 yen... Prices are increaed by 1 - 1.5 lacs, due to increasing demand...

2 imp points i want to mention at this stage...

Parts are scarce at the moment and expensive too... One bumper is around 55-60k... Passo and vitz around 15-20k... Just for comparison... Lights etc are not that expensive...

Hybrids are 60-90 k driven in Japan mostly, some even upto 150 k.... All the ads on web with less mileage are meter reversed cars...

Aqua will be a big hit next year, after 6-8 months, with all parts and accessories etc, keep my words...

All maintenance is available at Toyota Dealerships, though i am not in favor of going to dealerships as they charge too much... Some reputed local market shops have some advance machines and expert people to rely on....

The Immobilizer we think these japs have is not immobilizer but a security system equally secure as an Immobilizer
In Immobilizer the car can only start with the coded key. Any other key inserted and the alarm goes of and engine gets immobilized, The door opening closing with any key has no connection with immobilizer and the valuables inside r still at risk.
Now what does Japanese gives us?
The System in Japanese cars takes signals from remote, Once you lock it, the Car enters security mode after 50-20 secs and a red light starts flashing inside as a sign that car is secured. Now when u try to open it by moving the inner locks or by inserting another key. The Engine goes into security mode and the horn starts beeping which can only be stopped if original key is inserted. But if u unlock the car by remote and then start or operate with a normal key. The car will behave normally and start with the simple key. In short in japs the security is controlled by the remote and not the key while in immobilizer the key is coded.
This is what it really has. Naeem
