Govt is going to increase cars import tax on filers by 5% & 10% on non filer, where as car importers are expatriate & they are not in tax net or Govt. allowing that all can import car no requirement of passport, what are ur views.

I have Passo 2010. Using it for the last 11 Months. It was giving me Avg 16~17 km/l till September in Islamabad city on ECO mode with 30% AC. But since my visit to Multan in September on the car it has dropped to 14~15 km/l not going above 15 km/l. I am using 50:50 Petrol:Hi-Octane.

On the Motorway at 100 km/h it gave me even 19.5 km/l.

I am using Caltex Havoline 20w-50 with Leppon Oil and Air filters. (As per suggestion from Mechanic as he was saying the Meter reading on every car is reversed so use a thicker oil). Current reading on my Meter is 53K.

Before I left for Multan i got Plugs changed also (Using Toyota Original Plugs).

how can i improve the Fuel consumption and should i change Engine Oil Type/Make.

one more question can the original player installed plays DVD? as it is mentioned on the player DVD ROM. if Yes then how?

It is a wonderful thread got lots of information regarding Passo. Thanks to everyone for giving valuable information.

Do not use 20w-50 in passo, it decreases fuel average. Always use 5w-30/5w-40 for better engine efficiency.

Brother 20w50 is not good for this mileage car...

I would recommend Liqui moly 5w30 or 5w40...

Other good option is Zic 5w40...
