dnt wry then......u can scan it for coolant temperature otherwise check expansion tank for steam boilover etc....otherwise engines normally operate at such temp

its not with Japanese cars.....every watercooled engine works on its optimum temperature and their fan is automatic by some way or other except u r working on Suzuki carry or bedfords in Pakistan until these mechanics circumcise the car and and make fan direct and remove thermostat valve.....so dnt ever remove thermostat valve and make fan direct.

This car does not have the heat gauge meter in the speedometer area. But it has electrical sign which turns on with red light ONLY when your engine is heated due to some reason.
By the way, there is no physical method to check either engine is running at its ambient temperature or at high temperature.
But plz make sure that its Fan is in automode and working properly, and thermostat value is placed.

If you feel that the car is heating up then check the flow of water in the radiator. It might be that the water pump blades have corroded and flow of water is less. This can cause the engine to operate at higher temperature than normal. If water is not flowing then it can be that either the water pump has failed or the thermostat valve is stuck in closed position. First check the valve. You will have to troubleshoot to get to the exact fault. Hope this helps.
