Can someone please throw some light on this issue please? ? ? ?
All toyota hybrids have electric throttle, braking and steering

Its called drive by wire technology

    So all Aquas have it

Tell Mr. Dealer that he doesnt need to praise his car much

All other cars r as electric as his car is

I bought the chinese one recommended by a fellow pakwheeler, from another guy. 3 cans. There are two ways to do it, firstly is jack out the wheel and spray it or as I did it
What i did is, clean the rim very thoroughly as to avoid any dust or grease on the rim,put plastic bags on the insides, covering it all. Then cut pieces of paper and stick it in between the rim and tyre as shown in pic. Then I sprayed the first layer from a distance of about 1 foot. Then waited half an hour and sprayed second layer same from a distance of 1 foot from the rim. Now will spray the third layer tomorrow and post the results with a DSLR camera to better grasp the quality and finish of the spray. before leaving it for the night, do cover the tyres with big plastic bags or cloth to avoid any dust, insects on the rim. I have seen this issue being raised many times on this thread,
That many times when a Prius hits a pothole or a bump and you are breaking at the same time the car behaves very abruptly and releases the brake temporarily

That is not fault in fact that is the ABS unit kicking in and it is fulfilling its role which is that it is supposed to release the brake pressure on any tire which comes to a complete halt to prevent the car from spinning out of control
Because if any single tire comes to a complete halt meaning the tires speed is 0 and the car is still in motion that will result in a serious accident

Though the feeling is quite strange but the right thing to do is not release the brake in such a moment that would result in a very risky situation

yes, it is quite scary. i think its the regenerative braking going off because of the jolt, which may damage the generator which charges battery. the best thing is to apply more pressure to the brake pedal in order to activate the disk brakes.

by the way, whats the dealer rate for 2010 1.8S prius these days?

Get it scanned, something is not right, either the battery is faulty or someone didn't put it in correctly
