    Assalam o Alicom,

I would like to ask all Prius owner specially 3rd Gen 1800cc

3rd Gen Prius have lower ground clearance. As a result it belly hit most of the speed breaker and sometime it's difficult to drive in rough terrain.

What have you done to over come lower ground clearance?

Awaiting your reply to solve my prius lower ground clearance issue.

    Thanks!

I went for slightly bigger tyres. 205/65-15 and it got slightly better. Just have to be careful with extra passengers and tilt the car while passing higher bumps. Apart from that it has stopped hitting every single one

You can use .25 or .5 inch spacer at front
    And
.5 or .75 at the back
Front spacers must be smaller than rear

I personally hate spacers. The car's look gets ruined and ugly. Also spacers ruin the way it handles, gets very clumsy and in the longer run: spacers end up making rest of the mechanical suspension useless and ruined. Spacers ultimately ruin other parts and you might end up spending a load on replacing shocks/springs/axles/ends etc some time down the lane.

I got spacers in my PHV from INH Lahore around two years back. Haven't had any problems since. The drive is also fine albeit a slight difference which I would not grade as discomfort. At least my car now doesn't brush with each and every bump on the road.
