But I personally feel that UK models are much better than Japan ones, as they are less abused, MFD in English and shield cover under the body and engine. Caz i happen to drive both the models recently and also planning to buy a UK model T Spirit for myself. Can someone put me wise on the different models like T1, T2, T3 and T spirit. Whats the difference in it?

I have lived and bought in UK and bought numerous used cars ( did a bit of buying selling as a side business

I beg to differ to that statement. Goras use their cars rather carefully I have seen cars with a 100 K miles(160k KM) on the odo and that still used to look and feel like new.

To cut it short both japan and england models can be in good condition

But usually such cars r cheaper in japan because of the supply of used cars

    Japanese Prius has more resale
    Comes with auction sheet
    U know what ur buying
    Export certificate
    No overheating issues

England model has sat nav in eng
    No auction sheets
So u cant figure out if door etc has been changed due to an accident
unless ur very sharp or ur denter is an expert
    Is cheaper
Heard of some cars overheating due to smaller radiator and compressors.
Pak is much warmer than Eng

Almost no way to figure out the original mileage
Except if it comes with a company maintenance record !

Make ur pick, the choice is urs !

Gora hazraat in UK also abuse cars like a hired mule, but the MOT makes sure they keep the car in good shape otherwise it doesnt drive on British roads. when I lived in the UK I was looking for car to buy for personal transport. Most of them which usually got their MOT from some shady shop out in the sticks were in tatters. I mean literally patched up with all silly things.

The ones with proper MOT were very neat (as the law wants them to be). The worst were the "export" cars, those were a salad bowl of everything gone wrong but some were quite nice too.

Scoot over to Holland and you will find cars advertised as "very good, excellent factory condition" You get there and ask the Gora sb which factory of (insert brand name) had dinner plate sized rust holes as standard equipment. Or shoelaces as cable ties.

Come to the US and you fill find gora sb used cars worse than public toilets. They eat fast food in the car and forget about the bags and leave it in the sun (it then smells like rancid meat)

When used I the words "Rather Carefully" it was a comparative narrative. Its always relative, compare that to how cars are used in Sialkot for instance (no offence to my sialkotee brothers rich kids molesting their wheels in the most un-imaginable manner... know what I mean?

Now most of the car importers in Pakistan(most of whome are without doubt the most bay-imaan lot in Pakistan- that will cheat their own biological father just to make haram money) importing insurance write offs - repairing and selling them off as bumper to bumper genuine with fake auction sheets & service history, is a norm.

    Dear All

    I have a Prius 2007(JDM).
Does anyone know how to use HDD? I mean how to copy songs from CD.
When I insert CD, MFD starts displaying "REC", however, when selecting HDD option, it does not play any song, even does not display list of recorded songs. One of my friend has same model he is able to record and play songs, however, doesn't know how to delete songs, as most of the songs are in Japanese.

    So basic questions are:

    1. How to copy selected songs from CD?
    2. How to see list of recorded songs?
    3. How to delete songs?

    Ayaz

I have a UK model prius and it has this same button. i know what it does. This button simply turns off theft/security system TEMPORARILY until next unlock event.

I use it when i park car in front of a shop when there are some family members sitting inside. I turn off the car, push this button then get out and lock the car with remote. Now my family is inside, car is off and locked and i can go to shop without being worried. This way car will not alarm otherwise if there is someone inside and you lock the car from outside it will alarm very loudly. this is the security security system of the car which is very good.
