    Default icm japan

Im not going to pass any comments about any company

But icm has a huge budget set aside for collecting numbers from pakwheels and then offering them to import cars themselves instead of other importers

if u do buy thru such a company make all calculations how much the landed cost will be

Ive heard a few cases where people import some Prius etc themselves and end up having the landed cost 2 lac more than the market price

ive put icm on auto reject as u can see they tried to call 9 times the same day

    Salaam

Fuel average of my 1.8 S-Touring Prius. The 145 km driving range is entirely on AC and even includes a drive to Monal and back, AC on both ways. But to achieve this mileage you have to drive carefully.

mixed driving, on the way to Monal have to activate the PWR mode a few times, on the way back engine rarely kicks in, the downhill slope is easily covered on the battery.
Other than that keep a light foot, leave the foot off the pedal when approaching a red light at a distance, I even floored the car a few times.

I bought Prius when there were only a few could be seen on roads. About 3 years ago.
I had an avg 27kmpl on highways. Best mileage comes when you drive 90 to 110kmph.
I was able to achieve 80 kmph without using fuel. But that comes with practice and patience. Pakistanis seriously lack patience and courtesy and traffic sense. No offense but its reality.

Have you seen a Rolls Royce or other premium luxury cars on the road? Have you seen the driving behavior of drivers of these cars? If not then I must tell you they don't drive rush. They are calm cool relaxed and enjoy the drive.

Unfortunately Pakistani drivers make their and others driving stressful especially the ignorant who drive wrong way.

Back to Prius. This car needs same calm n cool driving.

    You can't change it.
I think lcd graphics is enough to show you the basic information. Fuel avg. Range. Power consumption. Etc.
Don't waste your time and money for something already there.
I suggest you place english language stickers on external buttons (not the lcd) for your convenience. You may also download PDF user manual from Toyota website for your Prius Model.

    I have 2 questions:
    How much Prius battery lasts?
Doesn't Prius has low clearance and unsuitable for our cities, with bumps etc. ?
Can anyone also mention what defects they came across in our environment.

if you buy a clean graded vehicle, forget about battery issues for the nest 5 years at least.
besides, yes the ground clearance is low, you have to be careful over potholes and speedbumps otherwise it scrapes and sometimes badly.

Go to hybridcars.com to learn more about hybrids and read a experiment on Prius battery, It can go beyond 10 years.

I travel around 80 km in a day ill post same figures or around same tomorrow . Its a big Thanks to Kashmir highway honestly i just keep my foot light and drive under 90 km/hr rest is all taken care of . 7 tanks since tyres and each fill up was at 750 km with still around 80 to go . I think that is pretty good as compared to what i was getting with CC 1 tyres
