Though there is something i learned with experience the Magic Number for your AC is 24 degrees on auto and a clean AC filter. Give that a try

i set the temperature around 20-22 degrees.
haven't got the AC serviced yet, and as winters are near, so it won't be of any use.
but to get an extremely good mileage you have to be really calm with your right foot.

Indeed that is what i do. No sudden accelerations planned deceleration and set off a bit earlier with extra time in hands to avoid driving fast.

yes I have learnt the braking techniques used to charge the battery pack over the course of my ownership, but sometimes just can't avoid flooring the pedal many times it is due to road rage and similar situations, many times when someone deliberately tries to give a flyby, I floor it, the other dude doesn't even get close to the tail of the car
not being biased but most of the time the ones messing with Prius are Hondas, both City and Civic.

nice discussion guys. to get max output of your hybrids the driving technique is called Pulse and Glide. Though the traffic conditions here are not very suitable for it but with practice it becomes a sort of instinct. Pulse is when you push the pedal and get to your desired speed quickly, lets say you reach 80km/h. then you release the throttle and Glide at that speed. Gradually the speed will start dropping. as soon as it reaches around 70km/h Pulse up to 80 again and then Glide. this helps in getting max output from your car. in Glide set the throttle where you loose the speed very slowly i.e. you loose 1km/h over 20-30 seconds.

But even if you drive it like any other car Prius still gives an excellent fuel average that none other can beat. What average are you guys getting now a days with AC.

So far I have seen Prius 1.5 EX old shape in 2011 model, it is for around 18-20 lakhs, a genuine auction sheet vehicle.
Average is around the same of both, this thing is debatable though, but 1.8 one has a serious power punch way above the 1.5 one.
Alhamdulillah I take my car to Monal with AC on all the time, just push the PWR button and there you go!
