Default Best HIDs for 07 Prius

Hi everyone. I have an 07 Prius. I usually travel at night on un-lit roads and have trouble with visibility, especially with the headlamps my Prius came with. Looking for better lights, but I don't want to get something that causes problems to the on-coming traffic.

Should I get HIDs? If yes, what's the best (reasonably-priced) brand I should look for? Any good electricians in the Isl/Rwp area?

I believe 2007 Prius is with Halogen lights. I think the next generation came with projectors. Anyways use good quality Halogen bulbs. No matter what type of HID you use in halogen.. It will blind on coming traffic and create hazard.

Do not use aftermarket HID's in Hybrid specially in Prius because one of my client install aftermarket HID's in prius and due to some HID ballaster problem an error comes in Prius Computer showing warning sign and secondly its better not to put any aftermarket product especially which involves electric in hybrid vehicle or get it installed by professional.

Thanks, and a big thank you for providing people here with driver education. I'm completely against HIDs myself, they can completely blind traffic on both sides of the road. I'll get better bulbs instead and get my headlamps adjusted.

Thanks! What do you recommend I get for the Prius?

    Try to get:
    1) PIAA H4 bulbs. One of Pakwheeler installed in his city. Check his thread for better info.
    2) Philips Xtreme vision H4 bulbs.
    3) Oscram Night breaker plus. You can get these from here easily.
